Hi PurpleLilies..It's hard to say how I feel about the bag because I'm not familiar really with Celine bags. I think the leather feels nice and it seems that all the details are there. Is this the piping you are referring to? Like the sealant?

Here is a side shot and interior view for other people.

I think I'd be much happier with the bag if I didn't have a huge gash smack on the front. Since I just got it five minutes ago I'll let you know how I feel about it later once my anger over the gash subsides.

looks a bit like a crease to me (then again i have poor eyesight!) you might be able to "buff" the scratch with leather conditioner. i'd try that first. just keep rubbing at it and see what happens!

On closer inspection of my Celine..the fabric that runs along the side Of the top zipper is light brown when authentic is dark brown and cheapish material. Not being a stickler but top zipper is prominent part of bag. I think I'll still use it as a workhorse. We shall see..also, sealant on sides of bag seem too light and plasticky in color

Ivystar and purplelilies im really really sorry for your bad experience with the celine bags from j.. well i so wanted this mini black boston bag for a long time i had added my name on the waiting list at the celine boutique in my area for a long time but unfortunately this model never came!!! at least i had the chance to examine other bags LIke (luggage and shopper) in person...
the feel that i got from the leather was so amazing you touch it and you know for sure its authentic it just feels right!
purplelilies you are so true about T&D ! their customer service is AAAAA! i have already returned them 2 bags cause i didnt like them and they responded like nothing happened they were so cool that made me a bit embarrassed they even sent me my "new" bag without charging me the shipping fees...
anyway i think someone should tell jacky your complaints!
ps! ivy about this scratch on your bag...it reminds me folding a hard paper.. the mark never leaves

Mine does have the Celine and made in Italy stamp on the inside. I actually don't think mine is bad, it just could be better but I will sell it I think. I'm extremely fussy with bags.

Muse isn't here yet but I'll let you know Wednesday. Fingers crossed!

I'm really picky about my bag. As for Celine rep, I think I will choose a better rep for it. Because the auth leather is just stunning! I saw some great reps at taobao. And my trapeze will arrive in about 3 days time. Hope it is great hee hee

By the way, what do you guys think about a chanel rep that costs around $400? Is it an outrageous price?

Good for you! I have told him about his hardware as well, and he still hasn't upgraded it yet. I don't think he plans to change it anytime soon. He continues to use cheap materials. His quality on a lot of his bags are not good at all.

There should be cardboard in the bottom base of the bag for the structure. Is yours that horribly noticeable or cheaply done?

Is there a cardboard base at the bottom of your 12inch cav jumbo? I ordered a 13.5 vintage lambskin for a friend & when I got it I notice it had a hard base at the bottom like cardboard. It was a turn off for me :/ pls let me know if your 12 inch has it as well thanks so much.
