If you can sling the weekender over your shoulder (i.e., you're not wearing a bulky coat and the handles aren't too short), it makes a good travel tote. I had a sandstone franken-WE which had a shoulder-strap (looked like a city on steroids) which I carried all over Italy a couple of summers ago, and it was perfect: large enough to haul everything, but purse-like enough to carry to dinner.
One of my favorite travel B-Bags is the Square, which Catty sells. It's really capacious, but quite flat so that it is reasonably low-profile when it's not overstuffed. The leather on the black and the brown (which is a non-authentic color) is very good.
Jacky used to sell the clipper, which is great-looking. I've never used mine -- I find it kind of bulky and heavy, and always end up gravitating towards other bags. He also sold the Piccadilly, which is a terrific travel tote, if you can get used to the top always kind of flapping around.
