Can anyone comment on jacky's chanel flap? I heard the fang's is really good but hers is also very expensive. Does catty have good ones? I can't seem to get a hold of her. Is she closing shop?

I bought two C bags from Jacky in January. Jumbo XL (13.5'') 2896 Black for $115 and the Chanel Quilted Flap bag 1112 Black lambskin W/Silver $105. They are gorgeous and have all the details down perfectly. Last week my GF from London was in town. I compared her auth 1112 and mine. They were identical in every way.

I'm on travel right now and only have the this 1112 bag with me. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if anyone ever wanted to return or send a bag back to T&D? I feel dumb asking, but thought i'd throw it out there before i emailed them. I'm wondering if I could return a bag for credit or something?

If the bag has defects you should returned but if you're just not feeling the color... I don't think they will accetp the return so in that case you will have to keep it or resale it.... I think

I am 5' ft/1.5m for those who want to know where the bag is going to hit. Was so worried it was going to be longer but it's perfect. Also if you are curious I made the chain shorter by making a loop and putting the flap through it, No need to tie anything.

It's roomy enough for me. Looks like it will just fit essentials. I think if you put too much it might throw the shape off a bit?

I found some posts in thread #7, coco sent hers to T&D and last we heard about the Folk was that T&D was sourcing for the screw for the strap before deciding on the price. Any further updates?

I have no idea how it compares - we don't have a Chanel in South Africa unfortunately! But I have been reading and searching tPF quite a bit. It is a little bit asymmetrical which a lot of ppl complain about but which I think just adds more character to the bag. Compared to Jacky's pic of the auth on his site, the leather looks just as squishy as the pic. The other colours look very flat but it's not IRL. It is also softer than I expected.

The inside has 2 pockets (1 big, 1 small) and the zippered compartment which is quite spacious. I was not expecting it to have a serial number but it did!

Pics of the inside & what I usually carry on a day to day basis:
keys, wallet, sunnies & phone. You can see there is quite a bit of space left...
