Orchidian - the Nuage Day is made with GRGH - its on their website right now

on the 'the bale dips' discussion that ever so often pops up here - it doesn't bother me personally. actually it shouldn't be hard to replicate since other rep sellers (B&S, Fang and others) have it done as standard - so there's lots of stock of dipped bales.

ITA! It doesn't bother me, but obviously the "dipped" bales DO exist.

I was browsing Nordstroms tonight. I handled and felt several bags but not one wowed me. I really like the Chloe Marcie (so much better IRL than in pics) but the leather was only good. Knowing what excellent quality is available in the $200 range just makes it impossible for me to fathom spending 1k++ on a bag. I'm a rep girl for life it seems, regardless of finances.

Has anyone ordered seigle GRGH? I think the combo is quite pretty.

Girls with Alexa Oak, if Jacky ever happen to send you the ones with dry, stiff, hard leather, worry not

Try to moisturize the leather from inside the lining, the suede part of the leather. I cut a hole from the inside pocket, it allow me to insert my hand AND the leather conditioner bottle.

My stiff oak Alexa's leather is now smooshy like the auth! Any leather moisturizer will do, it doesn't have to be Leather Revive (i use Lexol).

So I am new in this forum and I posted this in the pictures string. Whoops, sorry SMKelly.
Anyways, I have been doing some searching for a few weeks now and gathering info on who makes the best bags (for each bag type). This is what I have garnered so far:
Catty seems to make better Chanel than Jacky, how does Fang compare to Catty?
Jacky makes great LV's for the price
T&D make the best Balenciaga's

Do you think my observations are accurate? I would love to order all of the above so my question is- would you members place 3 different orders to get the best quality? or would you, for example, buy Chanel from Jacky because you were maybe planning to buy a PS1 from him (which I am) and you would rather just place one order...

Has someone already posted a nice summary on the best particular bags from each seller and I missed it during my searches?

I did a summary back then but its outdated, lol. Fang seems to have zhe best chanel now and it is expensive. Her lowest grade is better than jacky. Catty also have 2 grades if chanel, the cheaper one comparable to jackys. Her mire rxprnsive is comparable to fangs lowest. Im not talking about her sale bags, sometimes she might have bad stock and she put them on sale. Fang has higher range of chanel which she claims those r made of original leather used by chanel.

T&D have received my Authentic Folk bag. They are working on the pattern which should be ready next week. I am getting a Folk bag in Siegle and a brighter color sometime later when they decide to make it.

I have their Black RGGH and the hardware is gorgeous! I have read somewhere that it is a shade lighter than the auth. Quite frankly the auth bag is rare in my nick of the woods. I have yet to see another B bag irl among the ocean of LV, Gucci and Coach popular around town.

She also said that.. wow... you don't see a lot of those out here.

So.. I choked and said that I got mine at Neimans. (I did see some of them a year ago there). and then there was silence in the elevator....

Ahhhh... what would you have done in this situation? mind you, I was in an elevator.


I thought she was going to see some random flaw on my bag and call me a faker. eeeeeeehhhh.

Well, you know, maybe she was just complimenting you on your great taste, which the two of you obviously shared! B) I would take it at face value.

If a stranger accosted you in an elevator and made a nasty comment about a fake bag (or anything else about your appearance), I would say he/she would be the person in the wrong, and that you would be well within your rights to tell that person where to go (hint: below the sub-basement).
