Is Anyone Else Disappointed?

I'm aware of that, Arturo.

I wouldn't buy anything off the runways for next season.
Except for maybe some miyake.

Yes, Miyake was very nice, there were a few particular pieces that I liked very much, although I wasn't crazy about the flowers.... I also was very pleased with Cloak.

Menswear,I think had it's strongest season this time. I don't know how you could say disappointed when there were countless personalities making menswear a bit more open and exciting. We had I think three or four newcomers this season. Menswear can only get better at this junction. And I for one am never easy to please with regards to menswear. So for me to be excited about this season,it had to have been strong! ;)

i actually really like where menswear is right now...
i'm really enjoying it...

so many more options than there used to be...which i think is great...

I agree. I think maybe 5 years ago Dior and Raf were the only designers where I could find something for my tastes but now I think there are a bit more.

Now all I want are youth centered designers who price the clothes for the the actual youths who inspire them!!

A lot of the Central St Martins graduate collections excited me more than the "proper" designers. I am going to investigate some of the guys further and post pics! I've seen some really well put together collections that would put the bigger designers to shame. :innocent:

I'm not that impressed either.. but I did find some stuff that I liked, I normally don't find things that impress me in menswear..

i don't feel disappointed with hedi's dior homme, and i actually quite like the collections...especially for those shows in Milan...B)

I have just viewed the Central Saint Martin designers and I too was way more excited by thier designers than any others except Roland Mouret. He made me really happy.

i was SO bored with the womens collections also, very few things got me excited... Fashion's in a rut.

coming up

yes nyc was one of the most disappointing in memory. but paris & milan will be great, they always make up for it.

I was out of the country during NY fashion week and returned excited about seeing what I had missed. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I didn't see anything that I really liked. :( London Fashion week wasn't much better. This is really sad. I am looking forward to Paris but to be honest I am not expecting too much their either. Fashion is becoming very repetitive and the same "trends" keep reappearing. There aren't really many designers trying to do anything fresh or innovative anymore.
