Dior Homme: Hedi's Dark Expressionism

all those clothes would fit me like a glove....

but i wouldnt wear them if they paid me

:o

hedi is awsome. there is something almost feminin about his tailoring.....excellent imo  thank you for the pics everyone

great tailoring but that's it. those fabrics are not really doing it for me.

Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim.... ugh ugh! :D :D

I like it, but the white shoes look like boats. The idea was a good one, but boaty shoes just don't fly with me.

God, why can't Hedi put out more Luster/Strip collections? The more I look at these old ones the more I miss them. Especially Luster.

I also keep kicking myself for selling the arm pouch that I bought at the beginning of Strip. It's impossible to find now! Argh! No more selling of beautiful pieces anymore!

Yeah, the Dior Homme of today looks nothing like the photos posted here. F/W 05-06 is a good collection, but Strip was probably the last moment of greatness for Hedi. Back then it was still about the razor sharp tailoring and experimental fabrics and cuts and the 'couture for men' philosophy approach to design. Even reading the interview in the first post, it's very clear the Hedi back then is a lot different from the Hedi we know now, who seems to have gone too far with his obsession with music.

intend to get every piece in the SS2006 collection! Mark my word. luv it luv it...absolutely luv it! :-)

Just popping a question,
From which season onwards of Christian Dior Menswear are designed by Heidi Slimane?

And before I got misunderstood, there is Christian Dior menswear even before Dior Homme started right?
