If I were an actress and my fans or the media said I was ageless, I would start to worry. I identify ageless with mummyfied. Ideally, I would want a record of each of my acting years to be etched on my face, body, everything that pertains to being a human being and a grande dame of acting. I think that's what so wonderful about acting, honoring one's humanity, that reflects everyone else's, and one's special and immense talent. I am very disappointed with Isabelle Adjani because she has deprived us of her unique gift. It is painful watching her looking so artificial. Her features are deformed by too much surgery and she cannot express the spark, vivacity, liveliness and tumultuous emotions that were a trademark. I agree with those who say she belongs in the icons of the past category. Deserving of our respect and awe, but no longer the Isabelle Adjani.
