Part of a long profile in today's Arabian Times...(The Arabian Times!!???)
Anyway...

"In her spare time, Donald Trump's daughter is becoming her own brand. Like the Donald Trump line of suits, bottled water and vodka, Ivanka Trump will soon become a high-end product name.

On September 4, the Ivanka Trump Boutique is scheduled to open on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The luxurious store will showcase her first project outside of developing Trump properties, a line of diamond jewellery inspired from heirloom pieces circa 1920 to 1960.

According to Molly Goldfarb, who is helping to develop the Ivanka Trump brand, which will eventually have more boutique locations and go beyond baubles, the jewellery collection is contemporary with modern flair, whimsy and fresh designs. "Ivanka is so bright, and the brand is so fabulous," she elates. "Everything will have a touch of elegance."

Ivanka is partnering with Moshe Lax of Dynamic Diamond to create necklaces, bracelets, earrings and brooches for young, wealthy women who don't feel uncomfortable shopping for jewels that start for less than US$900 and go up to and over US$1m, with most pieces ranging from US$5000 to US$50,000 each.

"My dream for this collection," says Ivanka, "is that it will appeal to women who have a strong sense of themselves.

"They know what they like, value exquisite workmanship, and wear even the most important jewellery with a kind of off-handed elegance. They have a sense of tradition, but they like to go their own way. They appreciate quality, but won't tolerate stuffiness. They have everything, yet they have nothing to prove."

Moshe Lax, principal of Dynamic Diamond, is equally enthusiastic about the venture: "Ivanka's business acumen and passion for jewellery, combined with the Dynamic Diamond's quality and craftsmanship, make our partnership a natural success." Ivanka is excited about the jewellery and her new branding arm in the same way she enjoys being the boardroom adviser on the hit NBC TV show, ‘The Apprentice', which made her dad a TV star and raised her own profile to stratospheric heights. Yet for Ivanka, it's all about advancing the Trump name to bolster the development of buildings, and encourage people to buzz about and buy the products. The fact that she is becoming an entrepreneur and jewellery designer is a natural by-product".

Why does it not suprise me a Trump is creating another item normal people can't afford.

i wonder why the media hasn't taken this up already, i haven't heard about this business before....

^^ Say what you will- that is one great pair of legs!!!
And the guy is....

The guy she is with in #252 is Jared Kushner, publisher of The New York Observer, which his daddy, a big time New York real estate developer, bought for him...Any of this sound familiar?? :innocent: They have been an item for several months although they are both going to great lengths to deny it, for some reason...

From today's Boston Herald-
Sultry power ‘suits’ say: Trump this
By Darren Garnick
Wednesday, August 22, 2007

I’m not sure which compliment would be more impressive in the boardroom: “The World’s Sexiest Boss” or “The Sexiest Senior VP in the Universe.”

I’d guess that real estate developer Ivanka Trump prefers being known as the sexiest boss. The sexiest senior vice president infers that there might be a more sultry CEO slinking around somewhere.

The pouty Trump, 25, is the September cover model for Stuff, a magazine traditionally heavy on cleavage and light on real estate articles which is being folded into Maxim after one more issue. Although she told the New York Post that she insisted on a modest photo shoot - “no midriff, no bikini bottoms” - Trump is showing plenty of flesh upstairs.

Hillary Clinton was just skewered on the presidential campaign trail for wearing a blouse with a supposedly plunging neckline. To me, her outfit looked more conservative than what most women wear to church.

But Hillary’s issue is the same as Ivanka’s. Will male powerbrokers seriously listen to women while staring at their boobs?

Most guys are horrible multi-taskers.

Stuff’s cover story, titled “Lady Boss,” kicks off with a two-page spread of Ivanka sprawled out on a rustic cabin floor (the kind that real estate executives typically sit on after a hard day’s work).

She’s wearing high heels, a skimpy black top and a zebra-striped bra.

Or maybe it’s a zebra-striped bikini top. All I know is that my boss never wears this stuff.

Ivanka is now leveraging her assets to promote the latest incarnation of the Trump brand: luxury diamond boutiques (where prices range from $750 to $350,000) in New York and Las Vegas. She also flashed skin for Stuff last August to hype “The Apprentice” television show. That photo shoot included the “tycoon-in-training” in a half-unbuttoned white mini-dress.

We all know what would happen if a female middle manager at your workplace showed up in a leather teddy. First, the vicious gossip.

Then the dress code memo. Then the week-long sexual harassment seminar.

Granted, Ivanka is likely not wearing these revealing outfits when she meets with investors, architects and building contractors. But, if image is everything, as all the business brains keep telling us, then what’s the difference? It’s only a matter of time before conference calls begin with a whispered, “What are you wearing?”

Wardrobe aside, this is a huge career year for Ms. Trump. Not only was she just named to the Board of Directors of Trump Entertainment Resorts (her family empire’s casino revenue stream), but she was also named on Maxim magazine’s “Hot 100,” a list of “the most astoundingly attractive specimens of film, TV, music and the Internet.”

Ranked at Number 83, she’s two notches above talk show host Kelly Ripa and only nine spots below Miss USA Tara Conner.

How does your boss fare on the Ripa-Conner hotness scale?

Ivanka has said in numerous interviews that the “dumb blonde” stereotype helps her at the negotiation table when guys underestimate her business savvy. Maybe her sexy photo shoots are meant to magnify this advantage.

Or maybe she’s subconsciously reminding us what ultimately trumps all conventional dress codes.

When you’re obscenely rich and an “astoundingly attractive specimen,” you can wear whatever the heck you want.

"Ladies and Gentlemen- You loved her on the Apprentice, you oggled her in Stuff magazine- Live, straight from her mothers' plastic surgeons' office- The Boardroom Bombshell!!!...Let's give a big Scores welcome to EEEE-Vanka!!!!!" :woot::blink:
