J. Lindeberg Mens F/W 07.08 Milan

Oooh. I think the way that the clothing is situated and the way that they sit makes the clothing trandy and beautiful at the same time. ♥

"It lacks identity"

Exactly!

...actually it's identity lies in raf simons' a/w 2005 collection

^somehow true... but i've got the feeling it's a lot more bohemian, the proportions are similar, but the mood is completly different

i totally feel you. when gazing at the thing raf just came to mind. throw in the relaxed silhouette(and scarfing) from number (N)ine spring 2007 and it's a rip off. not to say it's detestable at all, there's just a lot of raf in there.

wow, this is a great collection, prob best men's collection since VOTC. didn't dig the high waist pants though. the two outfits vlada wore are just gorgeous, or maybe she is just overwhelmingly beautiful.

anyone know how retail j lindeberg cloth is cut compared to the runway proportions? are most of the runway items even stocked in stores? what is price range? how does the the fit compare to Dior Homme?

The fit of J. Lindeberg is a lot more accepting for a more athletic build than Dior Homme is. It is slim, but it's not ridiculously so. You don't have to do the whole Lagerfeld diet to look good in it.

I like J. Lindeberg. The cut is great, but the quality of the garments are too often poor. But since Johan Lindeberg is announcing a diffusion line (JOHAN) maybe he is paying a little more attention to the finish and quality of the main line. The pricing - at least in Scandinavia - of the main brand has been at diffusion line level. But that might change now.

by diffusion line level, do u mean in the same price range as like D&G and Emporio. I assume it's a lot cheaper than DH?

I really like the colours and cuts, very classy. I'd totally love my boyfriend to wear these clothes. I don't like the materials though.

Lindeberg is always as strait-laced as Clark Kent when you see the collection in store.

A lot cheaper than DH. A bit cheaper than D&G. More like Hugo/Hugo Boss.
