Old post Miss Dalloway :flower:.. but I see you followed the March Vogue 2009 thread..so you know now that only Hilary Rodham Clinton and Michelle Obama have gotten covers..
All first ladies since Lou Hoover have been featured inside the magazine with the exception of Bess Truman (source) ..

I found your post doing a repost search .. so I hope this isn't a repost..

I agree with this except, she was pretty skinny. She was very small and petite and worked hard to stay that way.

Yes, she was indeed very petite and very disciplined when it came to her eating habits.

In fact this is a very famous picture of her, not only because she was looking gorgeous but also because she was so thin:

^ WOW Jackie_oh that is an amazing picture of Jackie! When and where was it taken? And I think I see the diamond brooch that Carolyn Bessette wore in her hair when she married John jr. attached to the bust of her dress.

It's from a dinner they hosted in their place in Georgetown, in May, 1954 during Jack's years in the Senate.

They had several houses in Georgetown, Hickory Hill was their second house (from late 1955 to 1956), then they sold it to Bobby.
The last ones were taken in the White House.

Here's a pic of Jackie in their last house in Georgetown, in 1959 (then, they moved to the WH)
