A friend of mine went to HK for business and bought a very nice knock-off bottega bag. I am wondering has anyone seen them? do yu think they make good knock- offs there?

Usually the best looking knock-offs come from China. It's only an hour or so by metro to China and there, there's this huge mall that is knock-off heaven

Well, since I'm going to Hong Kong this late December, I wanna ask few questions..

1. When the december-january sales are on, are the sales including the Spring/Summer 06 collection ?
2. Does it worth it to visit Comme des garcon - guirella store ?
3. Are the products at Fashion Community Kitterick expensive ? What are the price range ?
4. How cold is the weather ? Should I bring any umbrellas ? What people will be wearing at that time ?
5. Can I survive in coat + dress + black tights combo ?

Thankss

The products at fashioncommunity kitterick aren't that expensive. I don't really remember exactly. But let's just say they are cheaper than Zara. I don't know if you heard of the brand b+ab, it's around that range.
As for the weather, last winter it was really really warm. I didn't need to wear my winter coats and could go out in at most, a turtleneck and a zipup. If I were you, I'd bring a winter coat just in case. Also, in shopping malls and stuff, they still turn on the air con, cuz most places dun have heaters in Hong Kong. My mom said right now, it's still really warm (around 24is degrees celsius). But yes, bring an umbrella. It rains quite a bit in Hong Kong.
It depends where you're from. I'm used to live in Boston, so I don't find Hong Kong really cold at all. I'm sure u can survive in that combo you listed above. As for other people, I'm sure they'll be decked out in scarves/big coats etc...but I guess it's normal, because for most of the year, the temperature there is around 20 something degrees, and in summer it can be 30+.
But I hope you have fun in Hong Kong. I love that city!

Cheaper than Zara?! Wow that's exciting ! ^^ Yess i also LOVE Hong Kong so much. Especially the Hong Kong local brand, it has some japanese influence so it is really really interesting. I also love the atmosphere at Causeway Bay & Kingston Street.

^^ I know. I don't get why on Earth the two are together in one thread. :hardhead:
