Milan Station in Hong Kong - So what's the deal?

I am living in Hong Kong and I know Milan Station is absolutely selling real goods. Actually there are around 6 branches of Milian Staion in both Hong Kong and Kowloon. (Milian Station also has their own credit card and always sponser local movies and concerts.) I totally agree with Chocsta that people in HK likes to follow "trends"! Since Balenciaga is no more popular in H.K., they are selling it in a low price! (Also Chloe's Paddington!)
Btw, my friend bought a fake LV in China then she brought it to Milan Station. Becasue she said it's from Ebay auction, the Milan Station manager taught her how to recognize a real LV and showed her some
"check-point." :D
If anyones wants to shop in Hong Kong, highly recommend On Pedder in Central, IFC Lane Crawford, Joyce at Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsim Sha Tsui Lane Crawford and Pacific Place Lane Crawford.:P

when i was in HK last year, i went into the Milan Station stores.
they were selling brand new birkins for HK$68000 (approx US$8800). i inquired further and was told that they can give the birkin for HK$64000 (approx US$8300) if i paid cash or bank transfer.
it's way cheaper than ebay resellers! but of course, if you can get it from the boutique...

also, there was a black croc birkin in Paris Station (near times square), but it looked suspicious to me. o well, i could be wrong...

yes they are selling Hermes birkin. i saw a second hand 30cm red birkin for HKD $48000 in a perfect condition a week ago!! i went to the shop again yesterday but it's already gone....also saw a lot of birkin at VIP Station Causeway Bay. it seem real but i am not sure abt that since i have never pruchased any bags at VIP Station b4. ^_^

Hi guys - I almost had heart failure when I went to HK this time last year. Didnt know anything about Milan station etc until I stumbled across one in causeway - my mum and I then spent our entire 3 days of our trip hunting down each one!! LOL - I bought 10 bags (greedy...who me?) including an amazing seafoam balenciaga which is incredible. I CANNOT WAIT unitl I go to HK again!

In where I live there's a store somewhat like Paris/Milan which take in bags from the rich tai-tais. These women can let go like 10 bags at one go...season after season

Gigi, if you don't mind, can you PM me the name & address of the store as well? TIA :D:flower:

Supposedly, all bags at the Milan station are real. Ladies, those croc birkins are real, but I am not really sure about Louis Vuitton handbags on this case. A family friend, hence an "auntie" to me sold a huge, and I mean not just 10 or 20 bags to Milan Shop. Since she is a rich tai-tai, she has all the time to shop everywhere you know?

Even my mother with a not-so-large collection of bags are approached for her bags, so you can see how Milan station works.

If you see a nice deal, you should go for it. But try not to buy those bags that are too generic, such as Louis Vuitton speedy I would say. The fake merchant are very, very talented.

I'm in HK and interviewed the shop manager for an article I wrote. Everything at Milan Station is REAL.... the goods are 2nd hand. You can literally go in there with a bag you wanna get rid of and they'll inspect your bag and then pay you for it. A lot of the LV stuff seem fake but they're not. If they were selling fake stuff, they'd be done for.. Some chinese newspapers in the past have tried to catch them out by reselling Grade AA fakes from Shenzen but they've managed to catch them out every single time. It'd be too much of a scandal if they were selling even really good fakes, so they wouldn't take the risk. Everything there is 100% real. They also have a rebate scheme where if you purchase a bag there for $1000HK, you gaurentee to take it back within 3 months, and they'll buy it off you for 70% of the original buying price, so you get $700 back. There's also a Milan Station Card which lets you pay by instalments if you so wish...

The owner of Paris Station Teresa Koo, I also spoke with her. She goes to Europe every few months to buy bags there that you can't find in HK on REQUEST. So if you can't find a bag in HK, you can let her know and she'll buy it for you but you have to pay her full retail price plus 10-20% for the cost of her going there.

I can vouch for Milan Station too -- they sell authentic goods for sure. The manager there is really easy to work with and he is also very knowledgable about designer goods (espeically handbags). My auntie has actually sold many of her so-called old bags to them and have had pleasant transactions throughout all these years. And yes, she is a tai-tai, which is why she can shop, splurge, and dump all her clothes and bags to Milan Station every season when she thinks their not "IN" anymore.

The price on the Milan Station hang tags - are these final? how much additional discount can I haggle

Made it to Milan Station on a recent trip to HK a week ago.

Went to the one in TST near Harbour City and I think the stock in terrible - mainly LV, LV and LV. They also sold clothes and shoes which I did not take a look at.
The ones on HK island were a lot better! Balenciaga was going really cheap there, relatively speaking, and they had a seafoam(!!!) weekender and a pistachio(!!!!) weekender available there.
I hesitated and debated if I should get the seafoam weekender, I personally found the pistachio too light for such a huge bag, but the seafoam weekender was perfect with its thick squishy leather and aqua-green hue.
In the end, my husband dissuaded me from purchasing it and I still regret it to this day! :( What was I thinking?

So, if anyone's interested, there's a lovely seafoam weekender in the Milan Station branch near Lan Kwai Fong as of last week.

I have bought some clothes, shoes and bags from Milan Station too during my last trip to HK. They're 100% authentic. I agree with Jennifer that the Chinese and HK govt are extremely stict in fakes. I don't think Milan Station would want to risk their reputation by selling fakes so outrightly. Also there're a lot of write ups about HK celebrities and socialites who sold their stuffs to Milan and Paris Station. I will definitely pay them a visit when I am in HK next time.

where is space please? the link that was posted before no longer works.. thanks!

i have been into one of the MS stores. i find that the prices are rather high for second hand goods. and there are so many LV bags like crammed up on the shelves, ALOT of LV bags.

Hi, I live in Hong Kong and it is a well-known secret that Milan Station mixes fakes with the real stuff. I have no real proof but I definitely wouldn't buy anything from there, especially with Shenzhen just across the border, which is famous for fake designer goods that are so well made that only the experts could tell the difference. So BEWARE girls!

Really? I live in Hong Kong too and I haven't really heard of people complaining about fakes. I kind of doubt they would because their business really rests on their reputation. Any hint of doubt could make their business collapse (esp when they have investments in so many Birkins). So far Milan Station is still going strong and a lot of people still buy there (not just Chinese tourists).

how do they do the pricing? i'm visiting hongkong this week and would like to sell my suhali l'aimable to them.

Milan Station website
http://www.milanstation.com.hk/

i bought few birkins at M.S and they are all REAL goods. (becoz i sent them to Paris Hermes for repairing and cleansing, they confirmed.)

for those who are interested to purchase croc birkin, both milan and paris station (actually they are from the same group.) could provide the cert. from Hermes shop. just ask them.

btw, my friend told me Cameron Silver (Decades' owner) went to Milan Station and got some nice vintage Chanel bags there when he came to HK a year ago!
