Jean Paul Gaultier HC F/W 08.09 Paris

I don´t know if someone else noticed it but Natasha´s red embroidered dress was first showed at his fall 2000 haute couture collection by Hannelore Knuts, that time it was shown full skirted with black pleated silk shiffon godets, last year he did the same with an embroidered coat from that collection, first shown with fur trim (he has also re-used several fur pieces) I don´t know its wrong to do it, but we do notice Mr Gaultier, we do.

Unfortunatelly I couldn´t find a picture from the red dress back in 2000.

^^Gaultier is quite the recycler. I really don't mind though, because he always manages to make his old ideas seem fresh and current when he revisits them.

In the case of this collection, however, I would say not.

Enough of drag queen fashion.
It's a desservisse to women!!!

Wow, I love the intricacy of these pieces. I have to say though that I'm not crazy about all these vibrant colors.

dont like the colour sceme or the shoes or boots ..but someof the shapes and textures and detailing are really interesting .. and i love the fetahers

I must say that after watching the video and some HQ's I like quite this collection. It's not the top og Jean Paul's possibilities, but many sutis, neon dresses and crinoline-ish forms are fantastic!
