Jean Seberg

I saw Bonjour Tristesse on late night TV way back, and found it distrubing...I finally got a dvd copy much later and only watched it once- Jean was haunting in it- I can never decide if it was the story or that she was rather erie....

has anyone else seen Love Play? the third picture from the post above is from that. It's quite good!

I don't like that coverr She looks half awake. Not a good shot of her

Agreed that it isn't a flattering shot of her, however it completely reflects her state of mind at the time, distraught, drug addicted and paranoid. She was going through a complete emotional and mental breakdown since the death of her child from which she tried but never recovered. The cards life threw at Jean became worse and worse and I think she was in some ways maybe one of the first victims of the paparazzi and press intrusion.

She looks amazing in that towel photo. Her face is so stunning. Has anyone seen her in Bonjour Tristesse?

^ Yes, several times!! I'm a big David Niven fan anyway, but Jean was awesome in it- although it is a rather disturbing movie... :(
