i really love jennifer, for a long time now...but since she's broken up with brad, she hasn't been the same...she may not be aware of that, but she just isn't...she's trying too hard and in an so obvious way...the way she talks, makes jokes, gestures...all the magazines...just too obvious....

I like her and I think she's classy, but I really hate those GQ pictures. Aside from those pictures, I think she's seemed more "herself" recently than she has in a pretty long time. I think she'll always have her detractors, but -to me- she still seems refreshingly "normal." I haven't read the GQ interview, but I think she came across pretty well (and seemed well-adjusted) in the New York Times and Vogue interviews. I enjoyed her in those.
I have no clue why anyone would think she should promote a movie like "Marley & Me" by appearing naked in GQ. But, she is turning 40 in a few months. I'll begin by saying that 40 is not old, and Aniston has a body that women half her age would want. But, I'm sure she's anticipating an onslaught of pity press and is thinking about how best to counteract it. I can see the headlines now. "Jen's 40!" "Will she marry again?" "Does she still want kids?" "When will she have kids?!" "Time's running out for Jen!"
I think the Vogue interview was a good example of her expressing that she was content with her life, even if other people aren't. And I believed her. That said, there are people who refuse to believe she has moved on, isn't a child-hating whiny shrew, and isn't crying into her pillow every night. Nothing she says or does will change their minds.
She was able to go a few months without being on the cover of US magazine every week. I think the gossip magazines are going to start gunning for her again, and the fact that she has a few movies coming out only makes the attention more intense. I think the GQ pictures are just one way of showing that "she's still got it," because people seem really invested in believing otherwise.

When did she act like or say that she didn't know? GQ people just stated her reaction at the start of the shoot. That's all. And it's true that usually celebs don't know their wardrobs for the covers until the day they start shooting.

Did Jen appear on Letterman on the 17th? If so, does anyone have the video?
She looks amazing!. I like her simple style. I love her hair and her body is to die for.
I don't understand why people consider she is 'trying too hard'. I honestly just hear of her when she is promoting a movie.
The fact she still talk about Brad's relationship I think is because media just enjoy to pitty her. I feel on every interview the interviewer is like "Ouch!".

One thing I've noticed is that many on this board expect actors to be stylish, to have that old Hollywood glamour (despite the fact that it's really impractical in these days of E! and constant gossip media - no one saw Natalie Wood walking her dog unless she wanted them too). I don't; for me, it's just a nice bonus. It's hard enough just finding actors who can act!

I guess anything to get people talking - after all, she has not one but two cheesy movies out in a very near future and, God knows, none of her movies have done well so far.
I do agree that she looks amazing - her bod is to die for!

^ Ah yes, that makes sense! I think the whole idea of turning 40 might be messing with her too and that she's dating a younger man, she seems like she wants to be seen as a cougar.

I find her absolutely adorable... the type of girl that lives next door to you and your big brother always cruching on kind of way.
The media remains obsess with her relationship with Brad because they were the fairy tale couple in Hollywood, more so than Nicole and Tom or any body else. He was gorgeous and so was she... plus the way it ended... how quickly he became attached to Angie...
But Jenn has remained so normal despite everything... watching the Letterman video... I really do not see a difference than prior.. she still has a bit of Rachel Green in her... kinda spastic with her movements in a cute way of course.
I think she is beyond it all... and has moved on gracefully
