After spending some time apart (she was in Manhattan on United Nations business; he was in L.A.), Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reunited June 23 for a laid-back afternoon with her son Maddox, 4, near her house in the bucolic village of Fulmer in Buckinghamshire, England.

Maddox, says an observer, "was very excited watching Brad ride around. He kept looking at his mother, asking when he was going to have a ride." When Jolie gave her consent, Pitt took over. "Brad put a safety helmet on him, then talked quietly to him, showing where to hold the handlebars," the source says. "Brad kept riding back close to Angelina so she could share in the fun."

After their respite, on June 28, Jolie waited with Maddox and Pitt to board a private plane at Luton airport near London. The scene was a departure from the past several weeks, when the two – who've never acknowledged a romance – had taken care not to appear too close, stepping back from the togetherness they displayed when a photographer snapped them playing with Maddox in Kenya in April.

I found this great site that has many of the recent magazine interviews with Jennifer. She just comes across as sweet, vunerable, and very real. I hate that in the breakup process, the press (or maybe Brad or Angelina's PR machine) has tried to paint Jen as a career driven, bitchy, insecure, self-absorbed person who wouldn't have Brad's baby. From all the interviews that I have read about her, she just doesn't seem to come across that way.

I thought this article, from Elle in 2001, was really great. There are parts of it that are so sad though, especially where the author talks about Jen and Brad and how much they loved each other. I think it is painful to watch the love that two people have for each other fade away -- no matter if it is your parents, a friend, or some celebrity that you don't really know.

I think everybody underestimates Jennifer Aniston's strength... everybody thinks she'll be struggling with any Brad news... I just see her moving on with her life.

^ I agree! She seems to be perfectly happy. I wouldn't worry about Jen, she'll be just fine. It's Brad that'll be getting major backlash from the public after all the Mr. and Mrs. Smith hype.

I never liked Brad. And I never thought he was that good looking. I can't understand the hype about him, there are so many men that look better! He and Angelina seem happy together, that's good.

Jen will be fine, she will find someone who will make her happy. She is such a great woman! She deserves better than that. I don't think she bothers too much about news from B&A, she's moving on and that's just great!

I didn't know she's schilling for damiani too. with her, gwyneth and brad's involvement with the company, it's a strange little arrangement. are we going to see juliette lewis in the ads soon? and I like jen's ads better than gwyneth's -- they really capture her natural beauty.

I prefer her style to that of Mary-Kate or Sienna Millers...those two look like human lint rollers that just twirled in a closet one day and wore whatever stuck to them.
