Unstructured and layered can be a quick trip to messy, but in the hands of Jeremy Laing, a silk charmeuse dress with slit panels, inspired by the slashed canvases of Lucio Fontana, looked clean and modern. The designer is known as a minimalist and his collection showed that restraint in the geometry of his cuts and prints. But where others would be content to leave a good thing alone, Laing revved it up with a sliver of Swarovski crystals here or a layer of netting there, resulting in a heck of a good ride
