im just never going to understand him or his work... but i honestly don't care to either.

well, i think he is trying to use pop culture (such as internet culture memes, emoticons etc) much like in the way andy warhol used to mine pop culture for his art.

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. when it does it can be sublime.

people want this stuff. consumers go crazy over his pieces for adidas.

i dont see how this is any more of a "joke" than marc jacobs mainline collection that was shown the same week!!
 
Although it's somewhat ridiculous, I love the fun quirky theme of the entire show.... especially the makeup. And the rainbow metallic jacket? Mmmmm...

he is truly awful. I love how he cant even get good models to boost his heinous designs....Noone would go near this kind of show with a bargepole.
