I saw a bit of the new collection at J. Dreyfuss boutique and his work's still amazing!

Lots of transformable bags, with attachments and straps to wear messenger style, on the shoulder or as a clutch. The colors and leathers are beautiful, delicate, like no other I've seen.

Lord & Taylor department stores carry Jerome Dreyfuss. They also periodically clear out previous seasons of handbags and that includes Dreyfuss. I found several clutches and pouches on sale at one near me.

And they sell some of them online on their website. Last year they had a blowout sale including the Dreyfuss bags. Don't know if it will happen again or if they already had one.

For anyone in Montreal, I know La Maison Simons had some of his bags on sale a week or so ago. The "Tom" (I think) was there for about 400$ in green.

I found this style called the bernard bag on sale for 50% off. after visiting his store in paris with Aby, I've been on the hunt for the right style for me. this one is kind of different because it has a zipper around the body that lets it expand into a longer size. it's really a cool bag.

the level of craftsmanship is hard to come by these days and the bag has so much character.

so... I saw the momo bag on sale at shopintuition.com. I called and they said that it was a mistake, and that the bag should have been taken down months ago, grr. Then the saleswoman was slightly rude and said that they had the bag on the site"like, forever", I think, insinuating that I could of bought the bag ages ago.... So, I would love to know if anyone knew where I could purchase the momo in cognac leather. I am in love with this bag... and any help would be much appreciated.

shopintuition are EXTREMELY rude. I will never buy from them again. Anica carries Jerome Dreyfuss Momo. It is sold out at the moment, but maybe you can call and ask when they are getting more? I have ordered from them before and their customer service is very good. Good luck. It's a really cute bag

thanks! but now I have my heart set on finding it on sale. Of course, I missed it on sale at shopbop. I heart from NYC, has one left, but it is still 473 dollars. I doubt that thy would let me know if it goes on sale...

I think the bag is still on the website at shopintuition...so if anyone sees the bag on sale let me know .

Well, did I ever score a great deal today I went out with my family and stopped at a Lord and Taylor's to see if they had any Jerome Dreyfuss left, and there were only 2 that were still somewhat expensive. Out of nowhere, an incredibly kind and sweet SA heard I was looking for some and went and got a bag that been returned weeks earlier but for whatever reason had not been put back out on the floor and tagged. It got marked down to only $269 from $770! It's soft light leather, in black and is enormous. I love the little LED light in the bag to help you look for things in it, and it also converts into a tote and has an adjustable leather shoulder strap. It's called the "Billy."

Now I just have to find the "Antoine" in black also, I'll be set.

I went to another Lord and Taylor dept. store to see what else they had, and I bought another one. I wanted a smaller bag, that also had cross body straps. I wanted the Twee or the Diego originally, but I couldn't find any left.

The one I ended up getting is much smaller, its the Twee Mini in "Petrol." I think I could fit the essentials (phone, wallet, keys, ipod and maybe, just maybe camera.) It's actually much darker than the photo shows, almost black a very dark navy blue. Since I wear mostly neutrals, black white and gray, I think it should be ok even though I was really looking for a black or gray bag. It was also a pittance of the actual retail price, $500 and I got it for 65% off. I might change my mind, so I will have to see how much I like it with my wardrobe...

All the lambskin is dyed with vegetable dye and sustainable methods, which is a good thing. I just wish his website was better, there's no lists of stockists and it's not in English either which is too bad.
