OK, I have always been pro-Alba, but this is just so silly. Poor baby...

Let's sing it, people!!! "I'm too sexy for my church, too sexy for my church, so sex-y, it hurts!"

'Sin City' actress Jessica Alba has revealed she quit the Christian church after being told she was too sexy.

(BANG) - Jessica Alba has turned her back on the church after religious leaders condemned her for being too sexy.

The 'Sin City' actress found solace in the Christian church after feeling rejected by the Latin community.

However, after four years of being a born-again Christian she quit the faith, because she was accused of deliberately trying to attract men.
She told Elle magazine: "Older men would hit on me and my youth pastor said it was because I was wearing provocative clothing, when I wasn't.
"It just made me feel, like, if I was in anyway desirable to the opposite sex, that it was my fault, and it made me ashamed of my body and of being a woman."

The 25-year-old actress also says she could not accept the church's attitude towards premarital sex and homosexuality.
Speaking about the Bible, she added: "I thought it was a nice guide, but it certainly wasn't how I was going to live my life."

Never been a fan of her's.....just because IMO, she's one of the 'no talent but hot, fashionable and busty' clan.

^i agree TGA...she has no acting chops to me

I find it funny, though, that she ISN'T overtly sexy... not at least in my eyes, anyway... MOST of the time she is covered up in a reasonable fashion... and there's something I respect about that.

I don't think the story's THAT crazy...

Well...she is on the red carpet. I admit she has pretty good style but in movies...:innocent:

Sin City, into the Blue, Fantastic Four....I know it's not her fault that she gets casted in these roles but still...she complains about being see more 'sexy' than an actor but she keeps taking these....

Let's see Awaken first though...she might have improved.

perhaps this is the "sexy" image the church is complaining about...

I like Jessica okay, I used to like her more...but seriously, her and Evangeline Lilly are always complaining about something to do with their looks and then they go and do the photoshoots that they do...I don't get it...

Sadly, I think that applies to three fourths of today top young actresses :( :innocent:

isn't acceptance and tolerance of others supposed to be a big part of being a christian? "let he who has not sinned cast the first stone..." or whatever.

that being said, i don't really care about jessica alba.

Eh, I doubt the church is going to miss her.

I wonder if she was one of those girls who wore the skin-tight pants and low, low cut tops to Sunday church? I'm all for celebrating your body, but it's embrassing when I see girls dressed like that at church. Just embarassing

I know, which in my opinion includes Scarlett J. (I'm so sorry to those who have noticed that I diss her up quite a bit but.....she's so monotone...I've never felt for her in any movie she's been in), Lindsay Lohan, etc etc.

This notion is a fallacy and always miscontruded. Christians are suppose to enforce God laws at the very least among their own.

I usually don't like her but I'm on her side this time..
