Jessica Alba is too sexy for her church

She must not have been that strong of a Christian if one little remark about her clothing made her drop out.

Perhaps there is more to the story. There usually always is with this celebrity gossip.

Oh no Christians mustn't judge. If that's true, what's the purpose of having morals? Just let everyone be corrupt and don't dare denounce others. You need to get a backbone and stand up for what's right and decent.

I meant judgement on a personal level, such as someone being gay, having abortions, or premarital sex. There is no need to harass someone about what they do in their home on to themselves, so long as it doesn't harm others. Being gay is one thing; wanting to erase an entire race is another. Something as personal and based on character as this gives none of us room to judge. It's not like she's planning on assisiting a politician in a genocide or something.

(its curious you view aborion--the forcible ejection of an infant child to be less harmful than racism) so ur making all these distinnctions based on your judgement versus the bible(god' word--if yousee it that way). while i do not harass those who are gay, etc. i don't thin premarital sex is ok... i would advise someone not to if they ask---and would [plead with afellow christian not to, but i would neverstand in the way of someone else's self-focused unbiblical actions.... that would do no good.

I don't view abortion less harmful than racism. I view it less harmful than Hitler or Mussolini putting people who are different in concentration camps and killing them.

While abortion and homosexuality are wrong based on my religion, it's not my place to tell people what to do or think, until/unless they start to harm others. Stealing is wrong too, as is cheating, but those things are done on a daily basis by otherwise good people.

I  healthy arguments!

wouldn't you agree its the rightful place of a youth pastor to say--- jessica button up that blouse? espcially considering how risque many fashions are? plus it hnk its ok to ask girls who are more likey to tempt men to be more careful. yes, she was singled ou--but htat is what comes with being pretty. we all knwo that in order to not inspire lust, caroline trentini would need to over up much mroe htan daria werbowy---no one questions that..

Seriously people....just reading this thread makes me ill. Who is to judge someone and say they dress badly or look ugly? That in it self is a prejudice thinking....and if most of the people here see themselves as achristian....well, I feel sad that most of you think like this.
This is a fashion forum so any member has the right to pick her apart when it comes to dressing badly.:P
I don't think God will send me to hell for being a judge of Jessica Alba's lack of style.

We all judge on some level; whether it's done unconsciously or on purpose.

Personally, I judge people all the time...and they judge me. It's a circle of fun :P

I hope I'm not too OT but some people may not define abortion as the forcible ejection of an infant child but like the forcible ejection of fertilized egg.(a potential human) Your jugement on abortion can only depend on wether you believe life begans at conception and it's totally up to you because despite what you seem to suggest all Biblical arguments on abortion are indirect and open to debate.

I don't want to start a debate because it's a sensitive issue but it is misleading to suggest that the Bible says something when it's up to debate.:flower:

Re Alba : well she clearly wasn't happy in the church environnement and she seems to blame it on the church itself. I think the 'problem' comes from within her: she's not a believer and there's nothing wrong with that. She doesn't have to justify her lack of faith by blaming the church. She doesn't have to justify it at all.

i would love for you to pm me--cuz personally i have never seen the gray area.
