Jil Sander F/W 2025.26 Milan

Well, now that it's over I can finally say it: the Meiers' Jil Sander has been these last years one of my highlights in Milan šŸ¤
It was kind of "my dark secret".
Send them a letter. It might cheer them up.
Judging by the video with Rosso, they needs thatā€¦Maybe more than flowers lol.

What a relief to finally know itā€˜s come to an end. Whatever they did, just plainly said, had nothing to do with Jil Sander.

I hope whoever designs for it next honors this beautiful name and doesnā€˜t do either Philo or streetwear at it.

I feel like they always start with a beautiful garment and then keep piling it up. Bulky shapes, heavy embellishments, awkward lengths, and in the process ruin what might have been a beautiful collection to begin with. It makes no sense, and itā€™s even more extreme with this collection. It feels like they want to be Loewe-edgy when Jul Sander has always been the opposite

Jil Sander is one of those brands that don't do well when the clothes diverge even an inch away from the original vision because it already had a fully realized and desirable formula to begin with. There was never a need to experiment or reinterpret Sander's work. Collections like this will always be inferior.

Damir Doma for Jil Sander, I miss his shows. I actually can see him do Armani too
One of the finest tailors out there

I cannot believe someone would actually try to knock off Raf X Prada, but here we are. The Celine look is on its way out, so naturally, these desperate hacks latched onto the most relevant brand right now: Prada. How utterly pathetic. These two clowns wouldnā€™t know an original idea if it slapped them in the face. Goodbye and good riddance!
