I can't get over how unflattering and costume-y most of these clothes look, I don't really think this is what you want when you're willing to spend a fortune at a brand like Jil Sander that stands for a certain timelessness (almost non-fashionable) of appeal, the clothes need to be at the forefront and not the ego of the designer or the question how well the clothes will work in street style pictures during fashion week.
To be honest, I almost find Uniqlo's new collection venture with Lemaire to be more true in spirit to what Jil Sander *should* stand for and fresher in terms of the clothes than any of what this guy is designing for the actual Jil Sander brand...
