Jimmy Choo H&M Collaboration

I actually prefer the clothing to the shoes. I do like the thigh-high boots, I wonder where they would actually end up on someone who is 5'3"?

I'm so disappointed they're only offering the collection at a few US locations. It's like H&M want people to sell the stuff on ebay and drive the prices up.

yes, they know there will be newspaper television news reports on the lines. they also know these reports will report on the high prices people say. the high prices will suposedly indicate the stuff is more valuable than it actually is.

wow she totally treated the guys out there respectfully. Yay sweaters!

I don't know if anyone else saw this, but the full collection (with prices) will be on H&M's website October 29.

I got my invite for the launch party today, and it's really nice.

Usually with the launches the invite is tied into the packaging, and so if that's the case this year, they've turned the trademark pinky/lilac Jimmy Choo bags into a beautiful shade of midnight blue. With silver embossed writing. I'm hoping the packaging on the shoe boxes/dust bags is like that!

The website's up.

And they've now altered the bracelet policy a bit.

The first 160 people in line will receive a bracelet; on the bracelet you will be given a specific time for shopping in our designated area. The bracelets are only needed for the women’s shoes, bags and accessories. Customers shopping the men’s collection or the women’s garments will not require a bracelet.
When your time has come, we will let you into the designated area to shop. Our goal is to create a better shopping experience for
all of our customers.

f you are not one of the 160 first in line, you will of course have the opportunity to shop from the rest of the collection or within H&M. After about two hours we will also open up the designated area for all of our customers.

To make sure as many customers as possible are able to buy from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection, we have a limitation. Every customer can buy the whole collection but with a limitation of buying maximum one per product, i.e. not more than one size (shoes/garments) or piece (accessories) per product per customer. The limitation covers the whole Jimmy Choo for H&M Collection. Your place in line does not guarantee any items from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection.

Yikes.

The shoes aren't coming in tonnes of sizes. In women's they'll go from a Euro 36 - 40 (US -5 -9 and a UK 3.5 - 6.5 - but there's no 4.5 for some reason...)

and the men's are going from a Euro 41 - 45 (US - 8 - 11.5 and a UK 7 - 10.5, with 9.5 and 10.5 being the only half sizes within that)

i second that yikes -- i always assumed the snakeskin-ized leather slip-ons with the studs and crystals all over were probably womens, as now confirmed on the site...but blogs that posted prior leaked photos sometimes grouped them with the mens collection. i had hoped there'd at least be an overlap in sizing so i could get this pair -- regardless of gender -- but i guess not.

same i really liked them shoes i might just see how they fit on the day

ahh shame about the shoe sizes but i wasn't gonna buy anyway.

the leggings however - i want!! :buzz: soo happy they're having it in a store near me.

I hate that this will only be available in LA, San Fran, Chicago and NYC. If they're going to do that, they should at least make online shopping available for U.S. customers.

That's really nice. Considering 50% of women in Holland, including myself, are a size 41 :(

yepp...me too sucks. oh well i wasn't actually into the shoes anyway. i like the leather clothes!

so women with bigger feet again do not have the righht to nice shoes?
can i email someone to complain about this? I know it won't chnage anything but maybe they can smart up for next time.

well, complain to Jimmy Choo and Tamara Mellon, since it's usually the designers who make such decisions, not H&M.

2 years ago when they had a special blog for cavalli stuff people were allowed to comment - and H&M never responded to any complaints about the limited number of cities the collection was in. they'll probably ignore your complaint this time.

i think your best bet is to create a complaint on twitter and ask people to retweet it or create a facebook group.
