i have been discreetly coveting this bag since i saw it on jessica alba in her thread a few weeks ago.....pls post pics when you can congrats

i might consider getting in another color, like stone or brown, though. don't get me wrong-i love blue and its different shades/hues. i'd just like to reserve this color for my fave bag-my petrol spy (i've already missed out on the turquoise 05 twiggy i was waitlisted for last february at BalNY )

Okay, I caved on this bag too. I saw it in person at the Choo store when I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and couldn't stop thinking about it so I ordered it. I got it last week and I'm in love. My thoughts...

I love that the navy is so dark that it works with black. The leather is FABULOUSLY soft.... very fondle-worthy. I've only carried it for a week now but I'm not finding that the leather scratches easily--so far, so good on that. I LOVE the gold hardware and to me it stands out more in person that in the pics. On the negative side, it doesn't have an exterior pocket (why???? This drives me nuts) and it's a wee bit hard to get into. It's not light either, but eh. Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I can't believe what I spent on it (although I used the 10% off code from Saks) but I have no regrets so far.

Oh, and the inside is so pretty too... love the pretty lavender ribbon.

OH... yes, it's sold out on the Saks site, but if anyone wants it... call the Boston, Beverly Hills, or NY store. As of yesterday, those stores had it in stock but only in black and brown (no navy).

I've been posting about this bag on the Fendi b thread, so I'm moving over here. Green, I can't wait to hear what you think when you get your bag!! I think the navy is fabulous - but the other colors looked good too. The light beige color is beautiful but I'm afraid it would get dirty easily - the hardware on that color blends with the leather more and doesn't stand out like it does on the black, brown, and navy - so if anyone is put off by the shiny gold hardware, on the beige it's not so obvious. Personally, I like the contrast of the gold with the dark colors. If anyone is searching: Saks Atlanta has black and brown. Jimmy Choo Atlanta has navy, brown, and the beige (not sure of the official color name). I don't think either place will have them for very long.

J. Alba has the navy Ramona. There are several sizes and variations. The Rasia, Rosso and Ripple are a few. Go to www.jimmychoo.com and you'll see them under SS06.

What's interesting about the other sizes - at least IMO - is that the bag has little to none appeal in the smaller sizes. The reason why is that they messed with the style in the smaller sizes - only a single row of grommets (which might have been necessary in a smaller size) and they folded over the top of the bag and squared it off (which wasn't necessary) so that it's structured and not slouchy. The SA at the Jimmy Choo store here agreed with me completely. Personally, I would prefer a bag not quite so big but the smaller ones just don't cut it. (I do think that the hobo version of this is very nice looking however).

Jan: I agree. The bag is not as appealing in the smaller structured size (although I wouldn't mind my Ramona being a tad bit more structured) but I do think it's going to look great in the hobo. I'm dying to see that bag (I have pre-ordered but I may cancel)!

Congrats, drel! Mine was supposed to arrive today, but for whatever reason, it hasn't been delivered, so I guess it will arrive tomorrow. It's really exciting, and I can't wait.
