yes I've seen the lime green IRL at the jimmy choo boutique here on bond st. and I know that it wasn't sold out when I was calling around. Only the stone was and the navy in some areas, which is what led me to my conclusion

However, I think it just depends on your personal wardrobe palette. I know that I couldn't ever carry a green bag, just wouldn't work. Whereas on others, it's a great choice

Remember - I saw it at Saks and reported that here on this thread - and you went and got it. I've regretted since that I didn't buy it when I saw it - because that's my favorite style out of all of them too (but it REALLY is okay as I have more than enough new bags - and I am glad that a fellow tsf'er and Atlantan got it and loves it!) It is a very special bag IMO.

Did they have any Rasia's at the JC boutique when you were last in? and how does the Ricky compare to the Rasia in size?

No Rasia's when I was there last week. The Ricky is smaller than the Rasia - it was a disappointment actually - it lacks the impact of the Ramona and Rasia IMO - and the double row of grommets is too much for the size.

Dropped by Nordstrom San Diego today (Fashion Valley Mall)... They had one chocolate Ramona and one chocolate Rasia in the JC display case in the designer handbag department...

ok girls, I need some bag advice! I bought the black ramona on ebay and am waiting for it to arrive, but i have also been eyeing the YSL muse (cant decide if i like black or white better). What are your thoughts??

Are you looking for soft and slouchy or structure? Do you want a shoulder bag? Ramona is softer, more slouchy, and a better shoulder bag.

well it's important to note that the Ramona is not black...I hope the auction didn't say it was black because it might be a fake then.....it's navy and they don't offer a black at all. But they are quite different bags and I chose the ramona over the Muse myself and I'm happy with that choice but like I said, two completely different bags. IMO the ramona in navy is slightly more versatile

I think I'm feeling slouchy right now...plus I've been carrying my silverado for months now and a should bag would be a nice change! As far as color, I didn't think it came in black either...the JC site only has navy and thats what ive seen in nordstrom. etc. Oh no, now im nervous...it seemed too good to be true. But if it says its "authentic" cant the seller be seriously penalized if it isnt legit?? There are several listings for black ones on ebay...do you think theyre all fake?

The Ramona definitely does come in black. Saks was carrying the black in their stores in late Jan/early Feb. I ordered a navy from Saks online and swapped it for the black in store, but ultimately returned it. Now I'm wishing I didn't. That said, I have noticed a lot of fake Ramonas on eBay and even ran across a website somewhere that sold knock-offs that looked cheap and rubbery. Hopefully, the black that you purchased is the real thing!

I hope so too! I LOVE the bag and don't want to have to go thru the hassle of sending it back, etc. Thanks for confirming it comes in black!! I'll have to wait til it arrives and then confirm if its the real thing...

Yes, black Ramona bags were available through some of the JC boutiques a month or so ago...they sold out in about 2 days...

But to be honest, I am still unable to get my hands on the larger sizes..NAP goofed up on this one, as you might have know from reading the Clandestine thread.

But good news is, my SA has shipped me a navy Ramona!!
It's on its way to me right now...can't wait.
