There are just some girls whose consistency is staggering. Of course, it helps that Joan Smalls is a rare beauty, but her sartorial choices are perpetually on point nonetheless. Inherently regal, she doesn't get caught up with the overtly ladylike, instead favoring looks that live on the edge and give a nod to the avant-garde, illustrated, for instance by a leather overall design (second from bottom right). Leather is a theme for this Puerto Rican stunner, as is a love of high contrast black and white, Givenchy (second from the top right and bottom left) and a touch of sheer (on her Gucci gown, bottom right and the top right look). Personal style is about a clear vision, after all.
