I think she might just not be getting booked. Lets not try and sugar-coat this. She's the number one model and still can't have a decent season in Paris. This says less about her and more about the industry in general.

I could be wrong, but its been a pretty dry season for models of color in Milan and Paris so far.

i kind of agree with you, but there is some news that she is doing something with karlie kloss for that MTV show she's part of, and the thing is karlie hasn't been as much shows either. but again, it could just be the industry being shady

If Joan was available for shows prior to JPG there's no way she wouldn't get booked for shows like Balmain, Gareth Pugh, Isabel Marant etc. It's clear these houses like her as she does them every year. She went to the MET gala with Olivier this year so they have to like her over there. She's obviously busy working other jobs
