The something big is definitly something to promote, like many said the swimwear. It would be strainge if it was only for Joan all this circus and Elsa also never officially confirmed as angel.
That doesn't mean that's she is not offered a contract though, since she is all around them. Hopefully not a stand in for Karlie.
The tag, filming and shooting doesn't make sence for a angel announcement more as a promotion for something.
I love the Joanfans. They are true Sherlocks and full of suggestions and questions. I love the devotion and passion. It makes me love Joan even more.

I was watching the Golden Globes and I swear it felt like there was a l'oreal commercial every commerical break. L'oreal uses Karlie and Liya a lot. (I personally see more Maybelline and L'Oreal Paris ads than Estee Lauder.) I wish Estee Lauder would do the same with Joan but like valliaddict said, that could be changing with her lipstick line. Hopefully it's still coming because I haven't heard anything about it ever since her announcement on instagram.

Joan is fine at Esteé Lauder. They've been good to her and things will only get better not worse. Esteé Lauder are the pinnacle of prestige. Why would any top model knowingly downgrade?
Also, Joan having her own Lipstickline backed by Esteé Lauder is soo MAJOR. That's an amazing company that is truly showing support.
I don't think many people realize how HUGE of a deal that is. Tom Ford, Micheal Kors, Bobbi Brown are just some of the few Brands that are part of the Estée Lauder company.
Joan is just gearing up to be her own brand! Backed by the best. Her future is soo bright!
And can we PLEASE STOP comparing and pinning non-white models against each other?
It makes me very uncomfortable.
Leave Liya alone. She's an Icon and she's doing great at L'oreal. If anything why does there always have to be ONE coloured model at a time?
Just recently two members at the Marc Jacobs S/S '15 thread suggested to replace Joan with some other model, (of colour) even though they had a cast of 9. Why couldn't one the many Caucasian been replace? Or how about adding that other model to round out the cast to 10?
It's like Joan and Issa were one women of colour too many in a cast of 9!
I don't even think people realize how racist they sound at times.
That kind of token mentality needs to changed!

Thank you. I wanted to say something in the Marc Jacobs thread about this but I'm tired of being the morality police. There are still a lot of backward thinking people in this world, & the sad part is that a lot of them are young. That is crazy to me.
