there is a cute boy on tv. the movie is called win a date with tad hamilton, and the guy who plays it looks sorta like ukrainian, because of his nose...mouth..generally speaking. but his last name is strange, it sounds like muslim to me. (i said sounds muslim, not is muslim, so nobody get offended). his mothers name is bonny and father larry i think. not russian names, and he doesnt look like indian, muslim or some middle east. im thinking maybe his parents from northern europe?

I am pretty sure the name is actually of French derivation.

Back in western Nebraska, where I grew up, the main broadcasting company for the ABC station is owned by a family named Duhamel.

Josh Duhamel is a fantastic young talent waiting to break out into stardom. His scene stealing performance in the 2002 adaption of the classic novel The Picture Of Dorian Gray lead to his role on the soap opera "All My Children", where producers so desperately wanted him in their cast they postponed the introduction of the character he auditioned for around his schedule. Now NBC has recognized him as a talent ready for prime-time and put him at the center of an all-star cast in the hit show "Las Vegas."

Anyway, this Josh guy is pretty good, but I'm not a fan of that movie, Win a Date with Todd Hamilton... I can't believe I paid money to see that!

I'm from way the heck on the other end of the state. My parents' house is out in the country, about halfway between Alliance and Chadron, about a hour north of Scottsbluff. They're so far northwest they are darn near in southwestern South Dakota!

My sis now lives near your old stomping grounds...she stays in Omaha, near the Old Market area.
