Jude Law and ex wife Sadie Frost are seen enjoying a family day out with their children Rafferty (b. October 6, 1996), Iris (b October 25, 2000) and Rudy (b. September 10 2002). The groups were out in Primrose Hill to watch the annual turning on of the Christmas lights, the family watched the main event from the street before heading up to a friends flat to continue watching the celebrations. The only person notably missing was Jude’s partner Sienna Miller, Sadie and Sienna have always had a fraught relationship. It is rumored that Sadie is not keen on Sienna playing a large roll in her children’s life after Sienna’s rumored affair with family friend Daniel Craig, Jude allegedly then went on to have an affair with the family nanny. - zimbio.com

flix66.comRobert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in another photo from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Now that we officially have a real title for the SHERLOCKHOLMES sequel (which is now called SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS) it’s safe to assume that photos will be rolling in to help promote and keep the anticipation up for the film. Even though the film won’t be released until mid-December, the studios must keep their film in the back of your mind so you won’t forget. Below you can see a teaser photo from an issue of Empire magazine. It shows Watson (Jude Law) getting ready to be hitched to a lovely lady played by Kelly Reilly, with Holmes off to the side looking a little worse for the wear. Robert Downey, Jr. also gives a statement about the sequel, he says:
It’s not going to be broader. That’s the usual thing they [studios] do. They say, ‘Hey, we were funny in that last movie.’ And then they go out and make some f@#king ‘LETHAL WEAPON 9′ garbage. It’s got a mixture of things that a lot of films can’t get away with… it’s a big-budget period film, which are never made these days… there’s real serious menace to it… and we’re taking it further—these two guys can’t live with each other and can’t live without each other.
I have even higher hopes than before and am keeping my fingers crossed that this sequal won’t be as watered down as some we’ve seen in the past. SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS will be directed by Guy Ritchie.

Damon Albarn Scores Sister's Film; Jude Law Narrates

bandinfo_bios_damon_big.jpg

Looking pretty Jude-y there, Damon.

Remember Jude Law in 2005? The overexposure gods conspired and suddenly he was in about fourteen movies in the span of three months, and everyone went, "Jesus, how many pink shirts can one man own?" And then nannygate happened, and blah blah blah celebrities. Point is, it's high time for handsome actor Jude Law to toddle quietly back onto the scene and into our hearts. He did a teeny piece of theatre, and now he's lending his voice to a project by pal Damon Albarn's sister Jessica. Good for you, Jude. Good for you.
Law provides narration for a filmed version of 'The Boy In The Oak', a children's book written and illustrated by visual artist Jessica Albarn. According to Indiewire, "The story centers on a young boy who lives in a cottage with a big old oak tree out back. He doesn't care about the tree and certainly doesn't know that it is enchanted, but all that changes as the fairies that live in the oak tree are about to cast a spell that will change his life forever." Awesome. The short film will be directed by Luke Losey.
Oh, and Damon Albarn, that guy from Blur and Gorillaz, is going to do the music. Probably on his iPad (HAHAHAHAHA).

Damon and Jude in one news.... my heart skipped a beat!!!!

Slapped with a November 23rd release date by Paramount, just before Turkey Day, the movie's called Hugo Cabret and based on a Brian Selznick novel. It will star Jude Law, Christopher Lee, Michael Pitt, Kickass' "Hit Girl" Chloe Moretz and scores of other names. The logline on IMDB reads thusly:
Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.
If this doesn't sound fun enough for you, it's in 3D, you guys. And unlike Baz Luhrmann's Gatsby reboot, we're not all, "What? Why do we need to have '20s interpersonal drama popping out of the screen? This feels extraneous, Baz." Instead, we're all, "Sh*t, 3D automaton!"
Fact: Martin's still got it. Now where's the remastered 3D Casino? I want to feel like I can reach out and touch Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci f*cking in that motel.
