Unlike his womenswear, nearly all of this all looks like stuff you can make yourself w/ just a little ingenuity and know-how of a sewing machine. And that's definitely not a feeling I want when asking to spend a eff-ton of money on clothes. But I still can't hate this.
Excentric, well made suits. His fun jackets that I would love to own. And T-SHIRTS. The sensibility of proposing t-shirts for summer. When so many designers pretend nobody wears them cause they want to seem intellectual or something...BS. T-shirts are a staple of the modern wardrobe and fashion houses tend to sell bad ones. Not Junya.
I like the "formal punk" concept of a tuxedo made of patchwork (I specially love the last white one). The oversized denim jackets with heavy metal t-shirts (and baroque Versace-esque prints) are a fail here.
