I have three words: wtf! XD. I'm not liking it BUT I have to aknowledge that this is very different than what Cavalli has done, either for Roberto Cavalli or for Just Cavalli, and at the end that's what a good designer is all about: being able to do different things without loosing its soul.
By the time Paris closes no doubt I'll have somewhat gotten over this grungy rock chick with a cutesy pie twist which Cavalli now joins forces with Missoni in presenting in a much lighter hand than his main line. But for now the Just Cavalli/Missoni look is just about the best thing Milan has to offer. At least it's not dowdy.
The outsize contrast collars either pointed or peter pan called to mind a MiuMiu influence. But then this season so does the Prada main line with it's girlish innocence albeit in a wholly different way of course.
Luisa Beccaria has been a purveyor of this girly sweetness in seasons past albeit with too much history and not enough edge. That's a criticism you can't lay at the Just Cavalli girl's door. She's cute but she rocks.
and we have a winner for the worst collection of the season.
there is not a single thing that is right. i cannot even point out one piece that is not tacky.
