When I first saw this picture it was a visual shock to me.
An exciting feeling of something to happen soon, mixed with a high emotion of sunday afternoon memories.
It is all about movement, dynamism, comfort and protection.
For some reasons, I've immediately thought about some labels like K-way and Tann's, famous for the quality of their fabrics, thesimplicity of the design, thestong visual identityof the products. After the trend, they became old-fashioned yet the concept behind was relevant enough for them to make a solid and relevant come-back, putting more efforts the visual aspect, adapting to the new area.
Looking at some NYC S/S 09 collections I think some designers may have been inspired by K-WAY and sporty/nature items, whatever it is climbing a rock, trecking, skying etc.
