*sigh*
It's honestly reading comments like this that make me feel sad for the models in this industry. Those models you mentioned, Anabela, Olga, Siri - they're not exactly the picture of health.
I'd tend to believe Kaia is taking care of her health, as I know it's something that her mother always placed a high priority on. And she's still a very young girl, so I'm sure she'll fill out a bit as she gets older.
As long as the influencers in the industry don't put pressure on her to adhere to some physical standard the likes of which people like yourself celebrate.
Your comment is a very valid reply to what I said. I’ll admit, I should put more thought into what I write on this forum, because what I said doesn’t actually reflect how I feel personally, I just don’t explain myself well enough.
A lot of people say Lexi has the best legs in the industry, but I personally don’t feel that way at all. I also personally don’t like the emaciated look at all, HOWEVER, I’m aware that it’s popular amongst a lot fashion fans, and the ones who say that Lexi has the best legs, probably also think that Siri, Anabela, Olga etc had the best legs in their time, so I’m directing my comment to people who like that look (Tbh I thought most fashion fans on this forum still liked the 2000’s emaciated look).
The reason that i said KAIA has the best legs (and I did say this, but not clear enough) is because, while her legs are very lean, they still look toned and healthy and have no jutting bones. THATS why I think hers are the best. However, I do think they’ll be even more amazing in a few years when she’s developed some womanly curves and put some more muscle onto them.
So thank you for your comment, happycanadian, you’re absolutely right, and I’m sorry that the way I worded it made it seem like I want to champion the Olga’s, siri’s, anabela’s of the world.
I personally LOVE that the 2010’s has moved away from that emaciated look. The 2000s was not diverse at all, the modeling trend was for every model to be the same height, same dangerously thin frame, and generally all white, pale skin, straight long hair. The 2010s is a lot more about health and diversity, models that are naturally slim, different heights, different skin colours, different hair. I think it’s AMAZING and I just hope it keeps going in the same direction!
