She's just still so stunning to me after all these years.

I have a feeling that Karolina will have a career like Eva H, maybe she'll never be able to command countless runways/covers in 1 season like some of the other supers (Naomi/Gisele/etc.) but she'll always be present and deliver flawlessly. Not to mention, she'll be better known than the Isabelis/Malgosias/Natasha Polys out there, but I wish she had a big commercial campaign to keep her in the public eye more often.

I adore Karolina, she has an awesome personality and she can pull off so many different looks. Also when she goes make-up free she's absolutely gorgeous.

I think she's just changed the style of her career. She hustles, but she seems to enjoy being more of a public figure than a fashion model in the past couple of years. It probably brings in more $$ for her family and she has fun doing it. When she came back to high fashion, everyone welcomed her with open arms. She had Vogue covers and editorials, she landed high fashion campaigns and she hit all the major shows. Then she's transitioned into more of a celebrity model now. Hosting big events and charity galas and such, presenting at awards shows. hosting tv shows, launching her own perfume, etc etc. She's also become a red carpet star that all the fashionistas follow and watch out for.

Do I personally wish that she'd fight hard for more high fashion work? Yes, obviously. But, I think the change in direction of her career was an intentional one on her part. She also chooses to live in Miami. She knew that moving there would radically change the amount of actual fashion work that she does. But it was her choice. One she made for herself and her family. So, I reckon KK is pretty alright with her career.

At the end of the day, she really has nothing to prove. She's had an incredibly successful 15-year-long career. She's had 47 different Vogue covers and is regarded by people within the industry and from other fields of entertainment as being a Supermodel. She has fame and fortune and respect from her peers. KK ain't got nothing to prove to anybody. She's all good.

Did she walk the Marchesa show? I saw a backstage shot of her. As for high fashion losing interest in her I highly doubt so I think she has just gotten to the point where she has done it all and now wants to look for more challenges in Hollywood and on the awards circuit

Also - seeing KK as an exclusive for this show, opening and leading the finale, it just made me realize that they probably want her because the brand got soooo much positive attention after the MET Gala last year, when KK was on pretty much every single best dressed list, on every blog that covered the event, all around the world. haha.

I don't know if I hate it but I'm definitely underwhelmed. The hair and makeup were great but the gown was a just a whole lotta nothing. I think KK has lost her red carper mojo.
