This has to be my most exciting time on this forum so far because of all this tea you keep spilling, I love it. I just keep bouncing back and forth from the Hedi thread to the Sabato thread. Absolutely loving it.

lol i woke up and chose blunt truth for 2025...maybe because of all the unjust that is happening all around the world and my friends that suffer at the hands of these idiots

i think we in society are getting so ff .....over on all levels so why not help bring clarity maybe will help someone .

i think you see in many companies even out side of fashion where business side now think because they have Ai and all this data on the market and clients etc that they can make decisions that guide creativity better than letting creatives lead.

at Patek Philippe the hermes of watches the ceo & owner basically designed their latest watch saying he can do a better job than hiring outside designers...this is someone that never designed a thing in his whole live.
Oh my husband showed me the watch! Isn’t that the one that looks like Cartier’s Santos?
I didn’t know the CEO designed it…
EGO!

But you know why more of things happen? Because executives have a frustration towards creatives. In general, fashion, music, art is a given talent. Yes people can educate themselves in terms of knowledge and craft but creativity is not something that can taught.

Unfortunately, you have people who have an impressive academic bagage who are working for, sometimes paid under people who have a « god given » talent and who in the success of the company, gets all the laurels.

Once those suits acquired money, that becomes their legitimacy card to access creative circles. And in the end, they believes that they are part of that circle.

And the funny thing is that they are always wrong because their approach is always wrong. They are used to solve problems and they always look at things from that POV. And unlike a creative who is lead by his instinct and change in the society, executives looks at data indeed. So their creative solutions are always a respond to an emergency = short term.

yes exactly a square version of the nautilus (that is their nr 1 selling watch) done be a real famous watch designer gerald genta LVMH bought one of his watch brands and is reviving ..........as ceo /owner he got upset and made comments like people that hate the watch he designed /bad copy are those that can't afford the brand any ways etc .......

agree because ceo´s want to be also stars now......

Once those suits acquired money, that becomes their legitimacy card to access creative circles. And in the end, they believes that they are part of that circle. this 10000000 %

you see it in watch companies allot the sons go in the creative + ceo role. i think LVMH 2 younger sons have also this vibe......

i think thats why so many companies are looking into AI so gladly because this indescribable magic of a true creative thought process and success....... they want to automatize and control 100%

The Cubitus, their 1st release in 25 years, but designed by the CEO because "only he knows better", aka the bastard illegitimate child of a Santos and a Nautilus, no beauty outside but the worst in inside; they put an old round movement into a square case. 25 years without a release and they just reuse old parts, not even able to develop a square movement to fit in a square case (and Moser does it).
There were f*cking reasons why his predecessors hired Gerald Genta.

You can keep your Daniel Roseberry overcooked concoctions that look like they weight 90lbs and takes an hour and a coordinated team to dress you, Hedi's women’s Celine Couture is simply, straightup solid— except for the black bowtie dress (probably already reserved for Jenny or Lisa for some red carpet/Bazaar Korea/Elle advetorial). Would be great had there been longer lengths than just the a-line mini.

The men’s however… WTFffffffffff….

I find the Couture beautiful but rather unimpressive considering that embroidered baby doll dresses are rather common.

MGC have done them and it wasn’t received with that much praise.

It’s beautiful and forgettable.

I am loving boringnotcom honestly.
Funny, witty, unhinged and doesn't give a damn about roasting brands and designers...I couldn't care less of blue square PR posts
Blue square would have praised Ungaro spring 2010 with Lindsay Logan and Estrella Archs had he been invited and paid for attending

^^ It's more he who knows we exist because he gets his info right from tFS
exactly.
I dont like boring.. he / she is very pretentious and acts like they are on the fashion intel . However i am very curious to find out who is behind the account .. prolly some kering intern with an ego who couldnt think of a better ig handle lol
