Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

My main problem with her collections is that they seem dated... outdated in fact...

That Jamie Hince has a sort of Iggy Pop look about him...or is it just me? Anyway, if the Daily mail discription of him is to be believed then good move Kate.
That premature-aging look?

I'm kidding; I freaking love The Kills, and Iggy. Plus some would accuse Kate of catching up too quickly, and I love her for it. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em! Pristine beauty is the mark of a dull life (or night, as you know, if your hair's still set by 2 AM)... :ninja:

The black dress looks fun. But doubt it would be cute unless you're posing like Kate. Let's face it--it would be totally boring sans Kate... She really needs to spin her image right now. I'm over this spot in her career. Seems stalled out to me.

^agree...Im not sure if this new topshop line was a good idea, its not captivating imo

^ She hasn't developed her look at all in the last two-three years.... so she can't really claim that she is ahead of fashion trends anymore.... (and this is what made her into what she is)...

I'm not against her rock-chic look, however she seems like she's constantly repeating outfits... skinny jeans and a waistcoat isn't the only way to do rock-chic imo.... and every single soul in the universe AND their grandma has caught up with it.... she needs to take it a step forward, otherwise, what she has been famous for, will seize to stand as a factor of her appeal...

And don't forget that there are quite a few other models emerging with a very distinct personal look....

That blue dress in KM for Topshop

looks very similar to a Geren Ford I just saw in the Liv Tyler's issue of Lucky magazine. I will try to find a pic. Just goes to show, how unoriginal this collection is.

i feel she is a true denim person. unlike Kylie Minogue, we rarely see her in designer dress in candid shots. i'm sure she and Kylie have got the same amount of freebies from all designers. but she's just not into wearing them out and about. i can see what you mean that her outfit is stuck in a groove. however with limited denim choice, you can't explore a variety of style unless you ditch them.

How about keeping her denims and ditching the rest of the outfit...??

I could not agree more. A few years ago she was literally breathtaking in her daily outfits. Now it's more yawn-inducing. Aside from that bone structure, she doesn't really look any better than your average girl on the street. Even Grazia, which used to fetishise Kate constantly, has only placed her at #5 on the Best Dressed list, which is bad considering she used to be eternally at #1.

So agree.
She is doing a look everyone else is and doesn't even look best doing it.
With the skinnies and waistcoats sometimes I feel she gets the proportions off:unsure:.....
and it's very unflattering to her body.

Kate collaborated with James Brown on a new hair care line. Kate fronts the campaign and helpt to choose the sent and packaging design. Prices are fairly reasonable at £5.99. It will be launched in Boots soon.

her style also seems influenced by her top shop collections, which are honesty just knockoffs of her original style.
