Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

I've been meaning to post these pics but haven't have time before. I was so surprised when I saw the yoga statue of Kate next to apple store here in Oslo...

Kate loves to rip her dresses..I don't love the dress she's wearing, but she looks smashing!

She looks great - but it ripped! Imagine a super-expensive dress like that ripping on the seam like a cheap high street purchase, just goes to show what Balmain's really about.
Seriously.

Thanks for all the pictures!

i never question Balmain's quality. i believe she had her Balmain dress tailored to her tiny frame. due to heavy drinking, the super tiny dress can't sustain the sudden bulge from her body so it ripped. her Balmain dress was not falling apart like vintage CD gown she wore in late 2007 so it's easy to repair.

Aye, but you'd think a dress made for Kate Moss would be capable of sustaining a bit of partying, it's not as if the 'heavy drining' is a blue moon occurrence that can't be factored in from the start. When you see a Balmain dress coming asunder in a candid, you can't help but consider how well these things are made, especially if they can't pass the Kate test for having a good time in your outfit.

Am I the only one who thinks pairing that big Chanel tote with a little minidress for evening is really odd and just wrong?
And I know I'm in the minority here, but I think the whole Balmain thing is pretty much over! (even though I realize for those not in the fashion industry who don't get clothes sent to them in advance it just started)
I mean Michael Jackson's been pictured in it, and here she kinda looks like she's wearing a giant version of his sparkly glove... not very cool IMO!

From Fashionista.com:

The supermodel, who’s hosting the ball, has been having a blast sketching turbans with Stephen Jones. She apparently can’t wait to wear their joint creation on the red carpet next month.

From Fashionista.com comments:

from a very reliable source: kate wants marc to create a veronica lake-inspired gown for the event

HAWT! I'd love to see her do some old Hollywood glamor, which would be especially fitting with her new "curves" (she's still very thin to me, so I find this whole curvy thing ironic), but it seems like a lot of the dresses Veronica Lake wore accentuated the bust...

star trek much? the return of the enterprise? :ninja:
still she manages to look great, as usual... Imagine any of us wearing that dress!!!

A Magazine With See-Through Appeal

By ERIC WILSON
Published: April 1, 2009

THE impact of the recession on fashion magazines has been severe, with some titles closing and others cutting back on staff and pages — or, in the case of Tar, a new indie arts biannual, half of Kate Moss’s face.

The magazine, which will release its second issue on April 15, will undoubtedly draw attention for a cover image created by the artist Damien Hirst. It shows Ms. Moss with her skin pulled back to expose the muscle tissue along one side of her face.

i agree totally about the chanel tote, so not appropriate with that dress, unless she wanted that effect, who knows, but i would never wear it with that dress or any dress...and the tote isn't all that much anyway to me, although i'm a huge chanel fan...
