Kate Moss was in Primrose Hill earlier today having lunch with her pal Fran Cutler.

Her Balmain dress on the previous page is absolutely stunning; I'm assuming a rip at the seam like hers wouldn't be hard to repair, but at least when her very delicate vintage Dior gown ripped she was able to do something ingenious and transform it into a minidress.

Her most recent outfit, however, looks a little off

Am I the only one who thinks pairing that big Chanel tote with a little minidress for evening is really odd and just wrong?
And I know I'm in the minority here, but I think the whole Balmain thing is pretty much over! (even though I realize for those not in the fashion industry who don't get clothes sent to them in advance it just started)
I mean Michael Jackson's been pictured in it, and here she kinda looks like she's wearing a giant version of his sparkly glove... not very cool IMO!

i SO agree with you about the Chanel tote. Not only it's just odd to me, but I find the tote itself to be cheap looking, idk, something that Lauren Conrad would carry.
As concerns the 'Balmain craze' I myself am pretty much crazy about Balmain so I'm kinda biased I love that dress.

BUT I'm sad, seriously, because I'm struggling to find Kate appealing in any way these days. I'm tired of justifying her late, ugly choice of clothes just because she's Kate. Even when she still wears great pieces, something else goes wrong: the shoes, the bag or whatever. I don't mean to attack her but, as superficial it may sounds, I just want my glorious, inspiring Kate back!

Her face is still absolutely gorgeous, no matter what. (well, if you cut that pierced ear off!)
