I really don't think what I said was either "stupid" or "unfair".

I too used to admire her for not speaking to the media, but she gave both print and tv interviews when her Topshop range was launched - I'd count that as "self-promotion".

Also, she bought into the "media obsession" and the hype surrounding her style by releasing her own clothing range, and posing for paparazzi in the window of a shop on Oxford St...

She "puts up" with the paparazzi?! Before Pete appeared on the scene, the paparazzi didn't follow her everywhere. She encouraged the new attention - I remember pictures of her and Pete kissing passionately in the street in the early days of their relationship, obviously fully aware of the cameras. She has played up for the paparazzi on many other occasions and also did a photo shoot with Pete for Dazed and Confused.

I'm not criticising her for any of this, it's her life afterall, but I find it odd that people feel sorry for her because of the attention that surrounds her, because, yes, I do think she has brought it all on herself.

God I loved that article/shoot! I miss the good old days when Kate still had that whole "fresh-faced" thing going for her. Chain smoking is definitely beginning to take its toll...I am still amazed at the number of ads she got this season (esp. Donna Karan - who would have ever thought Kate would do that??), and I still stand by my word that she is the best of model of all time. Period.

If you are referring to the slightly beat-up black knee-high boots, I think they are really freakin old Marc Jacobs, like '99 or so.

I didn't say she shouldn't kiss people in puplic - I didn't pass judgement either way because, as I said, "it's her life". I just pointed out that kissing a figure as controversial as Pete in front of cameras would attract media attention, a fact Kate would have been well aware of.

apparently you can pick up promotional kate moss for topshop postcards at topshop and they have kate moss on them wearing a star shirt!

the new line will be out on the 18th..im hoping we see more promo images soon.
