I love that LOVE ed. Extrememly tastefully sexy. What country is it printed in? I've never seen it before.

I also love the tights, black shorts and leopard jacket combo <3 I love how she jumps up in the interview video lol

i know it's dumb, and it doesn't matter to mention it at the moment, but the first 2 ppl who crossed my mind as i read about AM's death were Kate and Isabella. I always have this picture of Alexander with Kate in my head whenever i read his name. :(

the hologram at McQueen is iconic and sends shivers down my spine everytime i watch it, its my favorite moment in fashion

I heard about McQueen's death on the radio, and I too immediately thought of Kate, and that hologram on the runway.. She must feel so bad..I wonder what his fashion show in March will be like, without him.

she released a short statement saying: “Kate is shocked and devastated at the tragic loss of her dear friend Lee McQueen. Her thoughts are with his family at this sad time.” :(

Kate Moss mourns McQueen

Kate Moss was set to appear at Selfridges tonight to launch her new handbag designs. The event has been cancelled with a simple statement “Due to the tragic death of Alexander McQueen, tonight's Kate Moss Longchamp event at Selfridges has been cancelled.”

Moss is understood to be devastated at the shock news of the death of her friend, colleague and collaborator.

The supermodel may have made her debut on John Galliano’s catwalk at the age of 15, but it was McQueen for whom she acted as muse.

As fellow designer Julien Macdonald once said “Kate Moss is his [McQueen’s] kind of woman. He would always think ‘Would Kate like that?’ [about his designs] They’ve got a mutual understanding for each other. Lee really respects Kate and her look…she’s an inspiration for [him].”

The pair seemed to delight in the different ways that Kate could show off McQueen’s designs. In 2004, the supermodel took to the stage at a charity auction organised by McQueen. Dressed in his navy chiffon evening gown, a delicate semi-sheer dress covered in his famous skull print, Moss performed a languorous dance routine with choreographer Michael Clark. Afterwards, the skull print became a smash hit and McQueen sold thousands of his skull printed scarves.

And when Kate’s drugs scandal hit the headlines the following year, losing her lucrative contracts with many labels, it was McQueen who put her back on the catwalk. Not in person, but as a filmed hologram. Kate’s ghostly apparition materialised in a glass pyramid, floating and swirling in slow motion in an extravagantly ruffled gown. The assembled fashion editors were transfixed. McQueen took his bow at the end of the show in a T shirt emblazoned with the slogan “We Love You, Kate!”

The industry may have lost leading light in the fashion firmament today, but Kate Moss has lost a friend.
