From Downing Street to down in the street… Kate Moss's fiancé Jamie Hince ends fashionable night in a brawl
on 22nd February 2011

The night started out so well as Kate Moss arrived at Number 10 Downing Street for the official London Fashion Week reception, but just hours later when she partied with fiancé Jamie Hince it was a different story.
After the supermodel, 37, celebrated the UK fashion industry with Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron, she met up with The Kills star, who ended the night in a street scuffle in central London.
The couple headed to Soho following on from the fashionable reception, to continue the evening at The Box nightclub, famed for its risqué performances.

Down and out: Jamie Hince was caught in a street scuffle after falling out with photographers on a night out with Kate Moss

Intervention: Police and security officers broke up the scuffle between Jamie and photographers and let him off before telling him to go home for the night

But when exiting the X-rated venue, Kate and Jamie appeared to be shocked by the amount of paparazzi waiting for them outside and the model was quickly rushed into their car by club security.
As photographers tried to picture Moss from the back of the car, her fiancé jumped in to fend them off and ended up in a tussle before hitting the ground.
Security officers and police intervened to break up the brawl and Jamie was let off to go home with Kate.

It had all started so well: Kate and Jamie attended a party at art collector Jay Joplin's house, with the model wearing a bizarre metallic creation
A dishevelled Hince picked himself up and brushed himself off before jumping into the back of the car.
They had headed to The Box for the 10th birthday party of Another magazine, which Moss co-hosted with Tilda Swinton.
Another Magazine’s editor, Jefferson Hack, is none other than Kate Moss’s ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter Lila Grace, but the former couple are still good friends and he recently told the Evening Standard that fatherhood is ‘the best thing in his whole life’.
But Hince's brawl no doubt put a damper on the evening.

High society: Kate Moss joined a fashionable crowd for the event, while Vogue's Anna Wintour was seen leaving Number 10 Downing Street alongside the celebrity guest list
But Kate looked back to her best and immaculate as she entered the reception in a black sequinned dress and stilettos just before hostess Samantha Cameron arrived back from the afternoon’s Burberry show in Kensington.
