The latest PR stunt, as seen in Heat magazine (dailymail.co.uk
'I cane my body like it's leather': Katie Price admits four-times-a-week sunbed obsession
She's made no secret of going under the surgeon's knife. But in frank new interview, Katie Price reveals just how insecure she has been over the years and talks about her love affair with cosmetic surgery.
The former glamour model even told Heat she has Botox not because she thinks she needs it, but 'because everyone else has it done'. She confessed: 'I still have Botox every four months, and that's it. I have it down the sides of my eyes - three injections on each side.
'I'm not really wrinkly, anyway. I probably don't even need it. I only do it because everyone else has it done. Botox isn't a big deal for me, it's like going shopping.'
Despite carving out a career largely on what she looks like, the mother-of-three said there is only one mirror in her house, in the bathroom. She also revealed the extent of her sunbed obsession, saying she goes at least three or four times a week, revealing: 'I cane my body like it’s leather.'
The 33-year-old added: '(I spend) 15 or 20 minutes, but my skin is quite hydrated and not as badly damaged as some people’s.' Perhaps not very wisely she admitted, 'I don’t even use the goggles', before revealing she has a sunbed in her house. 'It’s like having a gym at home - you end up never using it. I go and use one up the road instead.'
Speaking of her boob jobs, Katie said she has lost count of the number of procedures she has had, making an estimated guess of 'five or six'. Her fans will be pleased to know she doesn't feel the need to have any more and claims to be 'done with it now'. The self-critical star is still not happy with their shape though, saying 'they’re not right', but 'there's more to life than worrying about my t**s.'
She also revealed the liposuction she had on her legs a decade ago was unnecessary, and it failed to work because she was 'too skinny'. 'I was only about 20 at the time. But it didn’t work. I was too skinny. There wasn’t any (fat) to take. It was painful, and it is dangerous - I don’t think the surgeon should have done anything to me. Just because I flashed the cash… At the time, I was too lazy to go to the gym.'
She advised people against veneers, adding: 'They’ve just popped off before when I was eating a burger. They’re glued on, but it has happened.'
She denied having a flat stomach, saying: 'No, it’s not amazingly flat at all. Anyone who has had kids knows that their skin’s not the same.'
Despite all her surgery, she said she's not afraid of getting old and would 'rather age naturally than have a facelift'.
