she was so different as a teenager

i just think of her as the Paris Hilton of the UK. just as tacky

hope she's not dying her kid's hair anymore

She's got TV shows, books, fashion lines, beauty merchandise, equestrian gear and a lot of pink in her wardrobe... and now she's got a magazine.

That's right. The unstoppable Katie Price is releasing her very own magazine, imaginatively titled 'Katie', and it's all about herself. Naturally.

celebrity.uk.msn.com

The mag, priced at £3.99 and sold exclusively at WHSmiths, is her way of getting her humble opinion across to her fans, with pictures, words and er, more pictures.

"Everyone has an opinion of me whether good or bad," says Katie "but this is a chance to get my opinions across! I'm the chief editor, writer and picture editor so I've written all the features and chosen the photos myself."

In the issue, Katie gives her verdict on celebrity style (we can't wait for that bit - we'd love to see her sharpen her acrylic nails for our sartorial benefit), she talks about her tattoos and what they all mean, she gives readers a look inside her personal office and even shares her tips for getting party-ready.

She also shares what beauty products she can't live without. We're guessing that bit is big enough to come in its own supplement with the mag.

"Over the years I've been interviewed in the press hundreds of times and usually get asked the same boring questions - most of the time about plastic surgery and men, yawn - so I'm excited to show a side of me that you don't usually get a chance to see in the mags," she explained.

We didn't think there was an unseen side left. But apparently there is.

You can find out about Katie's other side when the magazine hits the racks on 7 September.

^omg! Is she really doing a magazine? what for?, she's already in every mag out there...

Katie later revealed she only went to the event out of politeness toward Leandro's mum Mercedes and dad Hector who were visiting and had arranged the day out. Katie had reservations about the day but told The People: 'Leo and I were invited and I did not want to offend, especially given Leo’s Latin origins. I did not imagine it would be so shocking but it is part of Spanish culture. I don’t want to disrespect that.'

She also said: 'I admit I was shocked by its brutality and I would not go again. But I can now say that with knowledge of the experience.'
And later tweeted to followers to speak her mind on the sport, writing: 'I have to say bullfighting should be banned. It was horrific!'

Celebrating Leandro's 26th birthday in London (dailymail.co.uk:(

From an interview in the October 2011 issue of UK Marie Claire (dailymail.co.uk:(

Katie, 33, explained that she will carry on pushing her business ventures until people get bored of her.

The accompanying photoshoot, which is rather subtle in comparison with her bold, brash image, sees Miss Price dressed in a black and white striped jumper.

Talking about her success, Miss Price tells the magazine: 'Do you know how many books I’ve got out? I’ve got 40. I’ve got the pony stories, I’ve got the mermaids. From young ages to, well, women. I can’t sit here and name them all, because I don’t know all their names.

She also talks about how success is the best revenge: ‘I’m very ambitious. And success is the best revenge. [On] Everyone who said, “You can’t do this, you won’t do this. Ha ha you’ll be finished.” It’s not about money at all. I just love it. I’ll carry on till people get bored. It can only end when people don’t want it.’

The model, who partied on Saturday night to celebrate her boyfriend Leandro Penna's birthday, also compares the world of celebrity to a 'game'.

She says: ‘All these celeb mags, all this bulls*** world that we’re in, it’s a f***ing game. It’s like Monopoly. I’ve been in jail so many times, played my Get Out of Jail Free card, got back on the board again.’

And, in a clear snipe at her ex Peter Andre she says: ‘I can’t wait for my kids to be old enough to realise that the people they trust now are the ones who are setting all this up about me.’

^ Beautiful Marie Claire pictures.
I would really like to see her change her hair, back to something a bit darker.
