What a treat- we get to see the cast of the Celebrity Apprentice in Donald's living room atop Trump Tower tonight!! It has all of the refined, understated elegance we've come to expect from Trump!! (or perhaps the Palace of Versailles...) (And, coincidentally, it is upstairs in the same building that the show is filmed in...)

There is a beautiful consistency, though...Here's the lobby of my former home away from home at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City- also quiet and refined...where retired bus patrons can blow their Social Security checks under millions of dollars worth of crystal chandeliers!! They no longer have "Lady Luck" there to greet you, however- she was a cute college girl dressed up as Aladdin- mostly there, it seemed, to listen to rude, suggestive comments from drunken patrons...

^ That would be a good explanation of their 'taste'...In fairness, the kids, who are gradually taking things over, are much more quiet and sophisticated- the buildings they have been involved with are very nice compared to...some of the others... The Lobby and outside Pool Deck of the new Trump Soho in downtown Manhattan, which the kids were mostly responsible for- you can see a nice change of direction...

The Chicago Lobby is an improvement but it still isn't refined. It looks like an airport counter and exudes zero personality. This could be absolutely anywhere.
