Sunday Routine | Donald J. Trump
From the NY Times 5/23/10

When he’s not playing golf on Sundays, Donald J. Trump, 63, shops for courses or other real estate. He owns five sets of links in the New York area, and when he is in town, he starts the day on the course, often talking about business with other golfers. Mr. Trump lives with his wife, Melania, and his son Barron, 4, in the Trump Tower in Midtown.

WAKE-UP TIME I get up early, about 5 or earlier. I immediately read The New York Times or The New York Post, or both, and The Daily News. I read them, I accumulate as much news as possible, and I watch television news shows. I find out what catastrophe has befallen the world — what landslide, what tsunami. Then I will take a shower and get in a car and go out to one of the courses.
SUNDAY UNIFORM I have never been a believer in shorts on a golf course. It’s not elegant. I wear slacks and a sports shirt. Depending on the weather, I will wear a sweater.
SUSTENANCE I will usually have a breakfast — eggs scrambled or over, bacon, sausage, or they make great waffles and pancakes. I will usually have just orange or tomato juice.
NO COFFEE? I do not drink coffee. I’ve never had a cup of coffee or a glass of alcohol in my life. I never liked it. I never liked the caffeine thing. I really don’t need anything to wake up.
MORNING ROUNDS Usually I get to the course at 8 in the morning. I will play a round, which will take three to three and a half hours. I will hopefully shoot in the low 70s. Sometimes Melania and Barron will come up to the club and they watch me beat people at golf.
LUNCH I have a quick lunch. There’s nothing better than a cheeseburger with French fries and American cheese. I try to restrict that as much as possible. But that’s not an easy thing to do. They oftentimes have buffets where they have 15 different items. Sometimes it’s salad. Sometimes it’s lasagna with meat.
HITTING THE ROAD Then I go out and inspect real estate generally in the New York area. I drive as much as possible. I like driving as opposed to flying. I consider it a great luxury to drive myself, just to be free.
This is a great time to be looking for real estate. I have been buying a lot. I bought a golf course up in the Hudson Valley last month, and I bought one next to Pine Valley in Pine Hill, N.J., last month also. I do this for many hours. Real estate is a Sunday business.
DINNER AT HOME I get home at 6 or 7 or 8. I have dinner with Melania and Barron. She’s a good cook. She has a lot of imagination. She makes spaghetti and meat sauce. She makes chef’s salads. She loves salads. Sometimes she makes meatloaf.
WATCHING THE WAISTLINE I don’t have dessert generally at home unless it’s a little ice cream. I have dessert at restaurants. It’s never easy because I do love food. I watch it the best I can. And I wear a suit whenever possible. I look trimmer in a suit. My exercise is golf and tennis. I’m not a gym workout guy.
TIME FOR TV I will watch television and read papers, meaning my own reports. I watch “The Celebrity Apprentice.” I love watching the end of golf tournaments and sporting events if I get home early enough. I like watching “60 Minutes” and “Dateline.” Probably around 11 or 12, I will head to bed.
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT SUNDAYS It’s just a great day of relaxation, prior to the Monday wars.

Donald's desk looks exactly like mine!! Of course mine isn't rosewood underneath, but otherwise... ;)

^that Rima chick gets less and less attractive everytime I see pictures of her.
And ew at Doug! If you're going to date one of Paris former test subject (you know she tests new strands of syphilis on them) at least go for Megamillions (i.e. Latsis or Stavros)

^ She seems pretty nice- maybe not a rocket scientist, but.... ;)

It is so nice, not to mention money saving, to have a wife (and a daughter) who can do the modeling for you!! And classy, too!! I know when I was married I kept thinking: If I could only get a casino so I could but her in a skimpy bikini and have her picture on some casino chips!! Classy!! B)

^Lmao.

To add insult to the injury, he puts her on $25 chips?
If he's going to pimp his wife, he should at least save her image for the $1000 chips.

And you're right Boomer: Marla was/is beautiful. In that very vanilla, commercial way I don't find terribly interesting, but beautiful none the less.
We're not going to agree on Vanessa, however. Not impressed at all (but she seems sweet and unpretentious, which is more important than looks at the end of the day).

Well, looks aside, she is a wonderful mother, and she seems to adore Donny, who is, honestly, not the most exciting guy in the world, either...They are a very good match, I would say...Her modeling 'career' never seemed all that important to her (her mother ran the agency, so it was almost a hobby for her, it appears), she was not a great student nor did she have big career ambitions, but by all accounts she loves being a wife and mother, which is wonderful! :flower:

Well, the Trump 727 is back in service! It was sitting in North Carolina, for some unknown reason, when it was announced as being for sale several months ago...Safe to say there have been no takers? :rolleyes:In any case, DJT is back in action over in Scotland- mending fences and making friends as usual...

'Arrogant' Donald Trump plans to rename dunes

By Frank Urquhart DONALD Trump was last night accused of "supreme arrogance" after he announced plans to rename the spectacular Menie sand dunes as a tribute to his late mother.
The dunes on the site of special scientific interest at Menie, near Balmedie, were at the centre of the storm of protest which greeted the tycoon's plans for a massive golf resort development in Aberdeenshire.
And yesterday, as he flew in to Aberdeen to view progress on the construction of the main golf course, Mr Trump revealed: "In recognition of these spectacular dunes, we are going to name them the Great Dunes of Scotland. This name is a tribute to my mother, Mary Macleod, who was born and raised in Scotland, and very much loved her country, and also to Scotland."
But Sue Edwards from the Tripping Up Trump campaign said: "They are called the Menie dunes and that's it. It is typical of the supreme arrogance of the man."
