Keira Pulls a Britney

Hey, with good reason. You can get all sorts of nasy things when you walk around barefoot....for one, you can get plantar's warts on your feet--which I can attest to, having used to walk around barefoot a lot. Now I'm paying for it-- I had to have two plantar warts removed (very painful) and am now struggling with a plantar wart that is taking forever to go away and is somewhat uncomfortable.

You can also get nail fungus, which my dad has. Very gross.

Try duct tape and flowers of sulfur for the plantar warts.

I walk barefoot. The soles of my feet are like shoe leather, though. I could walk over hot coals and tiptoe through Ebola; nothing's getting through the layers of dead skin on my feet. My feet glow orange in the sun with milky translucent calluses. They make hard slapping noises on pavement like vulcanized rubber soles. I have feet made to crush grapes into wine. You'd need a belt or disc sander with a diamond grit grinding wheel on it to make my feet permeable to hookworms.

Keira's lovely, shoeless or no. If she picks up something through her walking barefoot, it will be a public service announcement to some, but only to those with soft, mushy leisure class feet. I have the hardworking feet of the proletariat, impervious to broken glass, bugs, the aforementioned hot coals and Ebola. Vives les barefeet!

YUCK YUCK and YUCK!

Aside from that; isn`t she worried to step into glass, vomit, dog-pee or whatever else might be on a sidewalk (even if it`s only "invisible" remains of it...)? :yuk:

I like walking around barefoot on my way home after the beach but I wouldn't if I was downtown because I can only imagine how many people have puked on that floor.

As a morbid and horny teenager, I used to lean my head against the windows of buses and look out at the terrain, imagining that someone had sex or died on every inch of hallowed ground in the world. Which is either a big turn-off or a big turn-on, or both simultaneously. I won't be worried for Keira until she starts rolling around nearly-naked and prostrating herself like some sadhu in Kathmandu. I probably wouldn't even worry for her, then, but be filled with envy and desire.

Anyway, I'm sure she's made many "Pretty girl with dirty bare feet" fetishists very happy today.

^ LMAO...classic! Your comments do nothng but amuse me.
Thank you! :flower:

I think she kinda looks like Britney in the picture. And I think going barefoot in a city or public place is gross but in the country it can be harmless.

Well I dont know what you guys think of London but parts of it are so incredibly leafy and middle class. You are probably all imagining where you live. But this isn't the Redwood Forests or the Gulf stream waters or New York City. You couldn't find glass if you tried and if you threw some down, the thought police would probably get you. These are the areas I walk around in. Plus you just tend to be more careful when you are barefoot anyway. I have never got cut before. Oh well, I seem to be the only one who does not find this a problem.

Btw Mellowdrama, I love you!

It's still really gross no matter who does it, but for some reason, I am more grossed out when Britney goes barefoot than when Keira does it. I picture Britney picking up parasites and nasty infections, and with Keira, I think, "Eh, nothing a good scrub in the shower couldn't fix".

There are so many idiotic behaviors these days that you could label "pulling a britney" entering this thread almost made me want to bet on which habit it was.

-stealing other girls boyfriends
-dressing fugly
-being a hypocrit
-making a fool of oneself
-being made a fool of by others
-making a talentless audio enhanced album

the list goes on.....

I had my money on "married a random rapping hillbilly and is pregnant with their 1st child together, his 10th child in total".

Kevin's from Fresno--that's not hillbilly country! That's more like grandson of displaced Okie country, and it's also big on Hmong, the Southeast Asian varietal of hillbilly. There are not hills-n-hollers enough in Fresno to be a proper hillbilly. It's the Central Valley. There's only a grid.

With those barefeet and pretty dress, though, I'm sure a real hillbilly would be right proud to land Keira as a wife. She'd just need to wash that wh*re paint off her face and make herself useful. And eat, woman!

This is a stupid story, I've walked around barefoot for hours in the city cos my heels were killing.

This is ridiculous. You can die from a number of things, you could get hit by a car whilst walking around in your fancy designer shoes. Is that better than getting cut by a piece of glass? For goodness sake. I've walked around barefoot at Deauville quite a lot but there are lots of countries where the sidewalks just get far too hot to walk on, blood blisters are painful (experienced this in South Africa, never again!). Worst thing that happened to me barefoot was I trod on a bee. Maybe I wouldn't do it in the city, maybe I would if I knew the area and if my feet hurt. It is liberating to walk barefoot and you know what, I have nice hard soles to my feet and they can handle gravel, tarmac, concrete and a lot of other surfaces.

i dont see what the problem is with this.....even the most exspensive jimmy choos can give one blisters, so maybe she had shoes on and took them off and put them in her bag because she was getting blisters. believe me, it's no fun, and it makes everything bettter if you just take the damn things off instead of making your feet bleed. yes, you can get glass in your foot and yes, the sidewalk may be dirty, but how do we know she was walking around all day like this. she could have bben shopping and was just walking out of the store with her shoes removed and to her car. im sure she doesn't walk around like this all the time.

now, with britney and the white trash ensembles and attitude, going into a public restroom without shoes on is just fricken nasty!

Oh please, the world is too germ obsessed. Especially America. No wonder all their kids are riddled with allergies. A little immunity helps. It doesn't hurt at all! It feels somewhat liberating, especially in stuffy St John's Wood.

Anyway she has some massive calves on her otherwise thin frame.

Agreed. I've walked barefoot on summers since I was a little kid...even my health obsessed nurse mother let me do it. It's not that dangerous, of course there is a chance you can cut yourself, but you just have to watch where you step a little bit. Walking barefoot does good for your feet.

Maybe it's dirtier in America :innocent:

I've heard that Americans think it's unhealthy for you and not good for the floor to walk barefoot at home, is this true?
