I liked the start of Kim Jones and his last collection. The 3 to 5 years in the middle were hit or miss (more miss for sure). I'm so curious to know what the next designer will do and hopefully it's indeed both men and women. It's going to be a huge team indeed and a lot of support needed.

I remember his first Dior as a very beautiful one.
But between the beginning and what we saw the other day, it felt like fourty years in the desert.

Jonathan is headed to Dior 100% percent. Speak to anyone in the design team at Dior and they've all been briefed on his arrival later this year. Worst kept secret in Paris!

On the cusp of his Fendi appointment, I thought it was a dry run for full control of Dior. It would’ve made sense then. His first few menswear shows were digestible but designed enough. But then what happened was that it was unravelled how vapid of a designer he can be.

I’m happy that Kim Jones’ and MGC’s era of fashion is coming to a close—it was depressing how basic and soulless things can be.

At least with JWA you know you’re getting something.

Yes I’d rather JWA just do one side of Dior he can be tiring real quick. I could see him doing DH but it’s criminal to leave Dior womenswear in such an abysmal state. Who else could you replace Mary Grace with?
