Not too hopeful about Silvia's successor, let's see if they get someone better than MGC or Risso, who imo was too messy even for Marni. I used to root for Stefano Pilati at Fendi, but I think now it's time for him to take over Armani. Fabio Zambernardi going to Fendi would be kinda fabulous, he would probably do great + show Prada what mistake they truly made.
As for Silvia, I respect her for leaving rather than presenting whatever, as many do; don't know how much design input she really had, but some of the collections she presented without Karl were very good, particularly the menswear ones. However, the one that stands out the most is arguably the F/W 2019 couture show held atop the Colle Palatino, for me the ultimate celebration of the archetypically Roman house of Fendi, a lot more than their 100th anniversary show actually.
